i have met both orthodox jews and secular and find that both were great to know.

the one guy i had a convo about israel and judaism and all the horrible events of past and present was in fact very knowledgable about the subject but he held such high levels of passion and hurt that it clouded he's openmindedness in the matter.

For the record i am a cypriot of turkish, greek, maronite origin and believe in the islamic faith. I respect and appreciate in all the other religions. i believe in the torah, the bible and the quran as the word of God. (some changed of course but dats my view) when did we stop listening to the message God provides and started caring more for the temporary earth?

Not everything in the books are literal, some are metaphorical. i respect your view about religion, but if there is no God and we are to believe in big bang theory and evolution as chance, where did the big bang happen? if we have a universe something cant happen from nothing, then it would not be chance! something created the bang, and in quran it refers to God as a nur which is a type of energy!

I think they were all into little girls. Life expectancy being shorter and different cultural norms meant that girls were being married off as young as 10, without any moral qualms about the issue. Boys alot of time weren't much older as well. Arranged marriages at very young ages were common among most civilizations of the middle east if not all.
