  • a couple of questions. first, were the heads that came with the drum set crappy?

second, the ten inch tom comes with a clamp, can you put it on any type of cymbal stand? lastly, does the snare sound good right out of the box or do the moongels gives it the warm sound?

  • @danmathwiz66

you can put the ten inch tom clamp on any normal cymbal stand. it is adjustable to fit wider or thinner ones. I never played the drums with stock heads, I changed the heads the day I got it. Without the moongels it has a ring to it that is good for punk or maybe st. anger-metallica type stuff, but the moongels eliminate that noise. I recently just put a remo controlled sound snare head on there and it sounds awesome. I tune my drums with the drumdial.

  • Do you recommend this drum set? Also are those the stock heads or did you buy new ones?

    Cheers

  • @fob199

Yes I recommend it! The heads are all new ones--check out my youtube page for further info.

  • really good i think ur better than cobus!!!

  • Excellent bro you rock!!! what kind of head do you used in every tom?

  • Is this The Ludwig Element wrap series Power kit??

If so it sounds beautiful. Thats the one i want to get

  • Dude! What are your thoughts on this kit? I play a Pearl Soundcheck right now and am ready for bigger and better things! Would this be considered a intermediate-pro kit?! I love you!

  • on 1 it is a normal snare, on 3 it is a rim shot

  • too much kick in your bass drum mix but , great playing ma n! keep the drum in you !

  • @daboydballerz

Look at all the mics on the drums...I have those hooked into a mixer that goes into my PC

  • @daboydballerz lol fail!!!

  • ITS LUDWIG?

    THANK YOU!

    GOD COVER

  • Mate you look so tense playing, relax . . . Drums are fun lol

  • DUDE no style u are just totally copying the same pattern as the original song!!!

  • Does Ludwig Epic Series mohagony burst, sounds good as Element series?

  • dude you rock!! where did you get the set?

  • I got it at a place called Ken Stanton's Music in Roswell, Georgia

  • @Brad0451 This is 1 of the sweetist songs to make up stuff on your own.........anyway nice job

  • wats h

  • nice B8 cymbals cool toms got to tune my toms like that all started from cobeyman this guys pretty good too

  • Your kit came with the hardware?

  • No,

I bought the shellpack which came with all of the drums that you see, plus any mounts needed.

For the 3rd small tom, it comes with the clamp needed, but you must have your own cymbal stand to clamp it on.

  • your toms sound amazing. would like to hear a touch more kick

  • is this a Ludwig Element?

  • @fluffyninjas

    yes

  • i like the sound of your snare

  • How much did your kit cost? (amazing cover btw)

  • about $600

  • around $500 (shell pack)

  • Is this an element series?

  • yes

  • wow the element sounds great

  • what kinda headset U got there? need some1 with good sound and isolation so I can play my drums at the same time. Is yours any good?

  • It is a sennheiser HD280 closed headphones---they are LOUD, AWESOME sound quality, and cancel out noise!

You can sit there and bang on your drums as hard as you want for hours with these headphones on and still retain your hearing 100%!

  • are these drums worth buying?is the snare drum the same quality as the crappy starter drum snares? and the toms quite sturdy or badly made? cos i need them for gigs and travelling wanna no if they goo cheers x

  • These are some great drums..I haven't put an aftermarket head on my snare yet...The snare isn't bad, but the toms and bass drum are great with some nice aftermarket heads on em! They are quite sturdy, i LOVE the mounting system that the toms have!

  • nice! what hi-hat are you using? it has the same sound as the one in the song. is it sabian?

  • sabian paragon 13"

  • i'm thinking of buying these drums for £489 is this a good by and what heads do u use exactly as urs sound kick ass i prefer shorter toms with less sustain and are a short thud rather than a boom are these the drums i'm looking for for a great price?

  • look at my profile and it gives an indepth description of what I use.

These drums were a GREAT deal! With the heads I have on them they have a nice bright, short sustain, and can be muffled even more with moongels. I say buy them!

  • yeah i agree with this guy loosen up and youll be great man

  • good but loosn up

  • Even I am better than you:)

  • Aren't these drums the lower-priced Ludwigs? I used to have a shitty Ludwig set and the hardware was crap--I gave up on Ludwig but would like to give the company another shot. I really like your drumming and you seem a lot looser on this song than in your other videos.

  • These drums sound great with some nice remo heads! The finish looks great, and the mounting system is genious!

  • i noticed you're using those small blue gel things to mute your drums. I tried using those and had a lot of problems (didn't sound too good and they kept falling off)

I'd try the Remo or Evans sound rings, they make a huge difference

  • I have never had a problem out of the moon gels.

  • moon gel rocks

  • man 5 stars

  • what balls?

  • Nice drums you got,. Can you give me the name of the drums?

  • Ludwig Element Series Fusion

  • great man, drums sound great as usual :)
