Hi anna! So my fiance or should i say husband just got married on the 20th of this month, && i can honestly say i know how you feel. My husband has never had a good relationship with his mother at all, so he unfortunately did not invite her to the wedding && he only had about 10 people out of over 100 that were from his side. Anna you absolutely broke my heart when you started to talk about his dad and the tension and him not being at the wedding. There are issues like that within my family as well and its something that will NEVER be forgotten. My husbands brother was supposed to be his best man at our wedding and cancelled at the last minute then wasn't anywhere for the birth of our child... he didn't see his nephew until his THIRD birthday! Unacceptable.. and all of that can't be forgotten.

If I remember right you explained one time that Jonathan's father felt that you ruined his wedding. Was that ever resolved? You might need to focus some energy on Jonathan's step mother. Women are usually the ones that bring the family together and keep everyone connected. If she is angry or upset about something than his dad will be too. Men generally take their wife's lead.
The proposal video gave us all a sense of how very much Jonathan loves you, Anna, and today's video showed us how much you love him in return (I cried watching both). Anna, my Dad didn't come to my wedding as my Step-mum didn't want to go and my Mum passed away the year before I got married. On the day it did feel quite strage to go through the traditions without my family there. But my husbands fam was more than understanding and so welcoming. Instead of feeling angry that my father refused to come when I would have given everything to have my mum there my husband mentioned my mum in his speech - how she would have given anything to see me happy.
Both of u hav done all u cud hav and more. It's up to his dad now and he is the one that will hav to carry the guilt if he does not go to the wedding. I wish u both the most wonderful day for ur wedding.
Oh and I love wen u bring us for a drive on the vloggities :)
P.S. - loved it when you put the music on, to the driving! Love that music! Is there a P.O. box that people here in the US can send gifts/cards? If I remember right you explained one time that Jonathan's father felt that you ruined his wedding. Was that ever resolved? You might need to focus some energy on Jonathan's step mother. Women are usually the ones that bring the family together and keep everyone connected. If she is angry or upset about something than his dad will be too. Men generally take their wife's lead.

the people situation not coming to the wedding, especially after being given lots of notice...so understand, been there & I still get upset by it 2 years on, which I shouldn't, but I felt let down by so called friends & still do, so I totally understand where you guys are coming from..try not to let it get to you too much cos you don't want to let it ruin your day x You made me cry talking about your dad, I was thinking the very same thing & totally agree. Oh Anna I feel for you so much. I hope this works out for the better. I couldn't help letting a few tears shed (even tho I fought really hard) I was extremely close to my Papa and he died a year after I met my husband, We didnt get married til 5 yrs later.,and he was not there to give me away at my wedding and he didn't get to see my children. I knew deep inside he was there. I carry him with me everyday in my heart. I just want you to remember your dad is always with you in your heart

my dad died when i was 10, and it's really hard for me to imagine having a wedding day without him there, so i totally get why anna's upset... thankfully, i have the best mom ever, and she's going to give me away when the time comes.. be thankful for the family you have and your dad will be there in spirit :)

I hope he does show up to your wedding. And if he doesn't then you should be not upset about it. Enjoy every part and second of the wedding and appreciate all the loved ones who love you and showed up. Even if there are few in Jonathan's life and supporting him, it is fine, because they truly love him. On the other side, from the second you two become married, all the Anna's relatives are going to be Jonathan's family. It's already noticeable that Anna's sisters and mom do love Jofus! Hugs!

Anna, my Dad didn't come to my wedding as my Step-mum didn't want to go and my Mum passed away the year before I got married. On the day it did feel quite strage to go through the traditions without my family there. But my husbands fam was more than understanding and so welcoming. Instead of feeling angry that my father refused to come when I would have given everything to have my mum there my husband mentioned my mum in his speech - how she would have given anything to see me happy.

I cried too with you Anna. I too had a difficult dad and I hope Jonathan's dad will come to the wedding and have a change of heart. Life is too short !! Love your loved ones while you can! I miss my parents...so I hope he'll change his mind. Anna, can you do a haul, showing us your Clinique and telling if you like it? I LOVED Clinique and wore it all through the late 70's, 80's, early 90's until they changed everything and now I don't like much. I do wear this lipliner, lipstick and gloss.
