I love music. All kinds of music. I love everything from Beethoven to Daft Punk. It isn't because I want people to think I'm "diverse", it's because I like good music. The thing about good music is that it comes from every genre, and every genre is mostly filled with crap, even classical. I believe that Muse is good music, and I am a straight, married 24 year old male - not a teenage girl. People should stop confining themselves to one genre for the sake of image.
@Sagan4Prez2012 You must be one of the only people I have seen on a Muse song to actually make sense and show that opinion is what matters. I applaud you, in the internet fashion that is.
I really don't like "The Resistance" at all except for the last 5 tracks & maybe Undislosed Desires. The political stuff + Guiding Light is pure crap.
**WARNING** May cause loss of Innocence, clear visions, God speech, enlightenment and rebellious acts against the system in general and other symptoms of Bliss.
Ok this is what I reckon Jeff Buckley would have sounded like if he were still alive today, or maybe if Muse and Jeff made a song together this is what it would sound like....Brain Destroying and live shattering with its' power. Truly Transfixing
My favorite albums used to be BH&R and Resistance, but now after listening to these older songs (which i have NEVER heard of) I think my opinion may change in the near future.
I tried to listen to something else but I keep coming back to muse. Once i get boredf rom one album, i switch to the other. keep going back and forth. it never gets old.
@promathia1 I know that this stuff is so fucking amazing and these guys are still my favorite band, but check out As Tall As Lions. They are so fucking good. Theyre my second favorite band and their music gives me the same feelings i get when i listen to muse.
THIS is the Muse that should have won Grammy after Grammy, not the wishy washy pmsy crap that takes up half of their winning album...MUSE FOREVER! I hope...
I kept on thinking about this song today but couldn't remember it's name so had to search through all of my muse songs including all of the b-sides and hullabaloo etc. to find this one at the very end of showbiz, the 3rd last Muse song on my ipod :| it was worth it though :) I'm now addicted
@bigVtko Well, a lot of them are on itunes, so that's where I get all mine from :) I literally just look all of their b-sides up here on youtube, and then buy the ones I like (which is usually most of them) So, somebody gave me this list of b-sides which I still haven't got round to going through, but you might find it useful (I'll send it via personal message) :)
@DaxinatorProductions LOL yea, I was "God, this is like the first time I've ever heard a suckish Muse song..." and then the guitars came in and I was like "HOLY CROW THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!! XD"
I just listened to this album for the first time. It's much better than I expected. I must admit that I like the first half better than the second.
I feel that this is Muse's most raw album. If they combined their new songwriting talent with the nakedness of the sound of this album, I think they could write a masterpiece.
Best Muse song EVER! Can't believe it was only a b-side. They always make their best songs b-sides: glorious, fury, futurism. If all these songs were on an album together I think my eardrums would be melted by the awesomeness.
When i first heard "Spiral Static" 4 years ago i didn't like it at all but when i listened to it again recently after many years i suddenly loved it and now i can't stop listening to it because it's amazing :)
