you may want to cresc... and decresc.... and cresc..... and decresc... at measure8 i think it is with the g# and the E for the left ( apply to right hand and accent before restart the phrase w the different ending..... dont be on top of the marimba.... your hands should be lower at measure 23 with the high e and higher g# on the upbeat.... rebound : Double Vertical strokes!!!! Take more of a musical approach to it...
I'm playing this for a Solo and Ensemble, which is some sort of contest just for yourself, to see how good you are. I'm only in 8th grade, so this is kind of hard for me, especially the 7/8 time part. I'm comfortable will all the others except the 7/8. Just listening to you play it helped me out greatly. Thanks.
PS: You hit the marimba a bit to hard in my opinion. :p
good job, I played this at solo and ensemble last year. not to be rude, but rather, take it as constructive criticism: just as a tip, don't beat the crap out of the marimba. in other words, you were a bit forte the entire time which caused it to not flow as well and become less smooth, and whenever you made a mistake, it was very obvious because of how hard you were hitting it. just tone it down a little
I'm definitely switching from rain dance to this0-0
