@EquariusKL tbh, a lot of protected species would probably suddenly find themselves no longer endangered if they became popular pets, since they'd be bred commercially. I'm not saying it's right to have non-domestic animals as pets, just that if they aren't being mistreated I don't see that it's an entirely bad thing.

@himynameishelen 1/ Those are very rare (only exist in one country), and it means that their reproduction cycle is not balanced. In order to make them famous as "new domestic pets", you will need to spread them -> to my mind, it will not help to save them at all. 2/ I guess that you guys don't feel/understand what a balanced environment means. Actually, lemurs are like bees for the original forest (which is deeply attacked in their home counrtry, madagascar) : [see next post]

The "commercial way" is not a healthy solution because it will give priority only to one or two of the different races of lemurs and will simply ignore the others because of the imperatives of "the market". I also think its a very bad thing merely because those animals usually evolve in natural conditions, and will not suddenly adapt to any home, as sweet as it could be. (they are not stuffed animals)

It's a slow loris as many have pointed out. And no -- you don't really want one. It marks its territory with urine constantly, they don't last long in captivity and oh yes -- they bite a great deal and their back teeth produce venom!

They're cute but it's better to enjoy these animals on video or in the wild.

@geoff394 get ur facts under his axis he produce poison when he lick that then he can be dangerous but a normal bite will dont kill he has no venomous teeths thats a myth . he is like some lizards he eats insects and gums what are extremly venomous and for clearance he sweat that poison out then he lick that when he wash himself in that period u dont wanna deal with that flurry little gremlin
