You can actually understand most words if you listen and Dutch is probably the most mixed language in the world. Everything from Danish, English, German and French make up that language... It is vry much alike german. A lot of german word occur in afrikaans. So if you speak to a South African and can't find the right word just say it in german he/she will probably understand you.

@993247761 Clearly you do not know many languages. Danish, Norwegian and Dutch is not that far from each other. You can actually understand most words if you listen and Dutch is probably the most mixed language in the world. Everything from Danish, English, German and French make up that language... And of course Afrikaans is derived from it - making Afrikaans a mixed language as well.

It's good fun for me to see that you speak the afrikaans language, and since I grew up in the netherlands, being able to fluently speak dutch I understood every word of this vid as well :).

For the english speakers:
In other video's Rendier mentions politicians being chosen because of their (black) colour, basically he's commenting on the discussion they had in the South African Rugby Union about whether they should select rugby players for the national team based on colour as well.
In the end the politicians seem to have decided against a minimum nr of black people in the squad, but the Springboks (as the team is known) now do have a black headcoach.
