  • I will say this again the raiders were ripped as the ball hit the steeler. If you read the book badasses you will learn that the refs were not only confused but scared shitless for their lives if the call went to the raiders.Fuqua does not even denie what happened a secret he will take to his grave.

  • jimmor Where do you misinformed Monkeys come from. I will now put this to bed.

3 Weeks ago ESPN ran a 2 Hour Special on the Immac Reception. New Technology being what it is, they DISTINCTLY SHOWED without Question, the Ball BOUNCED Directly off Tatum RIGHT Shoulder. Keep in mind, ESPN is dealing with 75 Million in equipment. Compare that to the SHIT stuff you've been watching it on. As for Fuqua, he has purposely kept mum on the Subject to keep you primates wondering. Fuqua & I are Close friends

  • pajasa62 the heidi game wasnt decided by a bad call by the ref orthe casper play.the immaculate reception and tuck rule game were bad calls..the refs in pittsburgh in 1972 were scared for their lifes that day.thats why they ruled in favor of the steelers.the fans would of burned the city down if the call was the other way.Read the book called badasses about the raiders and it explains everything about that game and what really happened.

  • @jimmorr100 I See What You're Saying And Everything .But Be Honest ,That Was A Great Play Whether You Like The Steelers Or Not Because I Started What Is Considered My Many Experts The Greatest Run Of Super Bowls Ever .Even Though It Wasn't Until Two Years After That When They Beat The Raiders Again !!

  • @jimmorr100 That's the story that many members of the 1972 Raiders I believe still claim to this day was the case. Having seen the play in super slow motion, however, it turned out to be a legal play (as the ball came off a member of the Raiders before Harris got it) even with the rules as they were at that time (ball in those days could not be directly tipped from one offensive player to another as opposed to what has been now the case since for years).

  • the beginning of many raider ripoffs>I dont know what is worse this or the tuckgame.

  • @jimmorr100

Hey, at least the Raiders have the Heidi Game...and there was the crazy play against the Chargers where Stabler and Banazak fumbled forward and Dave Casper fell on the ball in the end zone at the end of the game.

  • The Steelers radio call is much better. I was never a fan of Curt Gowdy and his announcing style.

  • Wait if it was 6 to 7 and then the Steelers scored, how is it suddenly 13-7? Did they just give them the extra point?

  • @DaBoyWhoCriedSheep

The Steelers did kick the extra point. This video, however, does not show the extra point.

  • still the most unbelievable sports play i've ever seen

  • The Pittsburgh Steelers are the greatest team of the Super Bowl Era, without a doubt...The Steeler Nation...

  • @GemCan78 Everybody hates the Steelers. More people hate the Steelers than even the Cowboys.

The Steelers suck. Here in Cincinnati where I live, everybody hates them.

I honestly wouldn't feel bad if their team plane crashed.

  • SamuelTheFAG-- Only MAGGOT would say what you just did. Make that the VERMIN in Pig shit. I received 4 PM"s from tube members All saying what a piece of Shit you are. All you really did was Prove what i knew all along about you, that you have the Brain of a 3 yr old CHIMP. Your Soooooooooooooooo Mad because your MASTER takes you apart at the Seams for ALL to see. You may now continue to Suck on your Boyfriends Cock. Just be careful you dont Choke on the Cum. OHHAHAHAHA

    FUCKING TOTALLY OWNED!

  • SamuelTheMaggot Correction, you live in CINCIKAKA, The fucking Toxic Waste dump of the Nation. Now, why don’t you climb onto that Special Needs tricycle of yours with the fourth wheel attached for extra-ensured retard stability and pedal your fat ass down to the sports field and do some “outdoors” stuff for a change. Hell, if you don’t like it, you can always offer to lick-clean the jockstraps. You are a miserably boorish contemptible subhuman and a malodorous, nose-picking mutilation of decency

  • Comment removed

  • SamuelFAG-- Let me see now, You stated you wished the Steelers Plane would crash, then follow that up by saying, "I'M THE MOST IMMATURE, RETARDED, FOLISH, BLA BLA BLA on the Internet. I see. OHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Its beyond OBVIOUS YOU FEAR ME SO, because i constantly Prove you actually have the Brain of CHIMP. The ANGER you demonstrate is OBVIOUS to the thousands who read this. Talk about pushing someones Buttons--LOL OHHAHA

You must be getting Fucked in the ass when you knuckle this Diarrhea out

  • samuel TRANSLATION: MOMMY MOMMY, STEELERGOLD IS PICKING ON ME AGAIN. MOMMY: WELL APE SON OF MINE, I TRIED TELLING YOU HE IS LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF YOU IN INTELLIGENT, BUT YOU JUST WONT LISTEN-SAMUELFAG: BUT MOMMY, HE ANGERS ME TO THE POINT WHERE I BANG MY CHIMP HEAD UP AGAINST THE TRAILER WALL. MOMMY: NO OFFENSE APE SON OF MINE, BUT COULD IT BE YOU HAVE DEEP SEEDED FEELING ABOUT SUCKING HIS COCK? SAMUELFAG: YOU MAY HAVE A POINT THERE MOMMY I DO WANT TO SUCK HIS COCK. AFTER ALL I'M A STONE COLD FAG

  • samueltheFAG---Someone who knows you well, shared some information about you & your Family. First of all, he said your Mom is known as the Local WHORE. Says she walks the Streets at night with a Mattress on her back yelling for Curb Service. He went on to say, your Sister is a FAT WHORE. Said shes sooo fuckin Big, when you went to Ocean City last summer the Tide Wouldnt take her out. He said, after a gang Bang on the Grass, they had to use a Bucket of Fantastic & a Mop to clean dead bugs off LOL

  • SamuelTheStoneColdFag-- Reading your post is less interesting than watching paint dry. If wit was spit, your mouth would be drier than a shallow well in an African heat wave. You are like watching Amputee Field Hockey: Maybe you wouldn't come across as such a jellyfish-sucking mental midget if you didn't eat all those paint chips & lead pencils when you were a kid; if your weren't so fat that when you stand on the weighing scale, it reads Sorry, we don't weigh livestock. LIght years ahead of you

  • samuelTheTubeFag Ok my PERSONAL MONKEY, time to pick out my grammatical errors, then its my turn. Well Monkey, Hop to it. You seriously have the Mentality of a Retarded Chimp, so i cant wait to see how you handle this. Like i said, compared to your MASTER, you are a fucking NEANDERTHAL, No Smack intended. I just Love HUMILIATING you as i do. Just think, not a fucking thing you can do about it. LOL LOL

I TOY/TEASE you just like i do with the Chimps at the Zoo. Seriously! OHHAHAHAHAHA FUCKIN CHIMP

  • @samuelrosenbalm Ask yourself this question...how many Super Bowls have the Bengals won? When was the last time that the Bengals won a postseason game? How many Bengals players, other than their offensive lineman Anthony Munoz, are in the HOF? Those are some fundamental questions that you have to ask yourself...Go Steelers...

  • @GemCan78 Who said I was a Bengals fan?

I'm a Cowboys fan, if truth be known. So suck it.

  • man i hate the steelers but this a great play

  • The ball bounced off of Fuqua. That should have been an illegal touch. TD called back, steelers Lose.

The ball hit the ground before harris caught it. That should have been an incomplete pass. TD called back, steelers Lose.

After harris picked the ball up off the ground, Villapiano for the Raiders was blocked in the back. TD should have been called back. steelers LOSE.

  • SamuelrosenMoron- I see Low life Ape is spreading his Hate, Discontent, & PROFOUND JEALOUSY again regarding the Immaculate Reception. I told you ESPN with their Newest Technology, DISTINCTLY PROVED the Ball Bounced off of Tatums Right shoulder. Franco scooped the ball full 2 Inches from the Ground. ESPN Aired a 2 hour special on this about 2 weeks ago. Oh wait, i almost forgot your home video equipment is better than the paltry 75 Million of equipment they have. In short, you are a Fucking IDIOT

  • SamuelTheIdiot No doubt Millions Viewed the ESPN Special on the Immaculate Reception. Aside from the current High Technology they use, they broke it down 1/4 Frame at a time. After viewing this, it left not a SCINTILLA OF A DOUBT the Ball CLEARLY Bounced right off the CENTER of Tatums right shoulder. If memory serves me correctly, your the Complete Ass who said-- ITS JUST A FEELING YOU HAVE. This is what you base it on?? At any Rate, we now have PROOF BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT. I fuckin OWN You

  • Comment removed

  • SamuelMoron- I'm sorry Sir Monkey, I'm just compelled to, HUMILIATE & Otherwise EMBARRASS you for ALL who read this. Your MASTER is in Possession of the TOTAL TRUTH, while you are left with your feelings on the matter. In a court of law, they would throw your ass out before the Proceedings started. LOL LOL. I'm CALLING YOU OUT-- Either show the PROOF that it was an illegal play by todays standards or SHUT THE FUCK UP. I have my Undisputed PROOF. Oh wait, ESPN made it all up, right? WELL? WELL?

  • Comment removed

  • samuelrosenBum-- One more thing Monkey, how about telling everyone who your home team is. Well, who are they?

  • Immaculate deception.

    That is all.

  • im a die hard cowboy fan. tht play was awesome

  • 6 Super bowl wins for the Steelers? gimme a break..........only the 2 over the Cowboys are legit........gotta love the other 4 over those powerhouse teams the 74 Vikings, 79 Rams, 2000's Seahawks and Cardinals..........those 4 were lucky and cheap..........just like the Immaculate Reception.......

  • @duppydoopy It Doesn't Matter How You Get Them Or What Team You Get Them Against ,As Long As You Win It Counts .Look At The 49ers For Example They Beat Barly Beat The Bengles Twice And Blowout The A Dolphins Team That Was All Offense And No Defense ,They Blew Out A Broncos Team That Had Previously Been Blow Out By The Giants And Redskins ,Oh And A Charger Team There The First Time !!

  • @steelersjourney oh I know, thats totally true......the Super Bowl is usually not a great game or there's usually a team thats not that great in there.........it just bugs me when Steeler fans boast so much about having the most rings and all that....same with Niner fans.....to me the number of rings doesn't mean much as far as being the best team. Only two wins for the Dolphins but it seems that 72-73 team was the best in NFL history the way they dominated and left no doubt.

  • @duppydoopy So 4 Super Bowls In 6 Years (Two By Repeat) ,22 Different Players With 4 Super Bowl Rings ,9 Of Them Inducted Into The Hall Of Fame Doesn't Impress You At All ? The Vikings Were A Great Team Even Though They Lost 4 Super Bowls ,And The Rams Were Better Then You Think .They Were In The Playoffs Every Year ,The Cowboys ,And Vikings Took Turns Knocking Them Out Every Year .The Dolphins Beat An Average Redskins Team ,And Basically The Same Vikings Team The Steelers Beat !!

  • duppydoopyBrains-- Ya those other teams who made it all the way to the Super Bowl were Not quality teams, especially when it counted. PROFOUND JEALOUSY is thy name.

Maybe you could be a bit more OBVIOUS!! LOL LMFAO AT YOU!

  • @SteelerGold1 so what the F if you make it ALL THE WAY TO THE SUPER BOWL...doesnt mean squat if you play like crap in the final game like the Vikings, Bills and Broncos did......although the Rams and Cardinals almost won those games vs Pitts which shows how bunk the Steelers are........jealous?.....gimme a break...I'd take the great players, coaches and NFL's greatest games that the Raiders were part of over the Steelers lame and boring Super Bowl wins anytime.

  • DoopyBrains- I understand now, I'm talking to a NEANDERTHAL. Instead of breaking it down again, i highly suggest you take a Remedial Reading class. Listen closely, out of all Pro Sports, the NFL is the only one where Luck plays a SMALL part, especially when talking about going through a Grinding 16 Game season, 2 or 3 Playoff games, culminating with the Super Bowl. You go on to say, the Steelers played in lame & boring SB's Really Shit4brains? Tell me, were you alive in the 70's to witness? LOL

  • I think the ball hit Tatum first; I also think the refs missed a clip at 0:10 on the 38 yard line (can't tell who got clipped, maybe Villapiano). It's in the books though, one of the great finishes in NFL history.

  • go stealers! John Madden still cant belive that catch

  • @EDog991 this is the night before xmas eve and that is a BIG lump of coal

  • I am a Cleveland Browns fan since 1963.I despise pixboorg. Even though it wasn't called the Super Bowl before 1967 the Browns have more championships. But I will say those stiller teams were great back in the 70's and with greatness comes luck. That's just the way it works. Lousy teams have no luck-example- current Browns. pixboorg was great back then and very lucky. Example-1978 ron anderson runs kick back fumbles Browns recover ref gives ball back to stillers. they win with trick play. Blatant

  • @801liveable Mr.Brown Fan The Browns Did Go To 7 NFL Championship Games Between 1950 And 1957 But Were Only Able To Win 3 Of Them .The Steelers And Cowboys Are Tied For The Most Being In The Super Bowl With 8 .The Steelers However Won 6 Of Them Giving Them The Most Super Bowl Titles More Then The Browns 3 NFL Titles .However As Much As I Pick On The Browns They Did Produce Former Messager Guard Chuck Noll .And Bud Carson Who Created The Steel Curtain Coached The Browns Years Later !

  • @steelersjourney I think he was including the AAFC chanmpionships. The All America Football Conference was a rival league that existed 1946-49 and then merged with the existing NFL. The Browns won the AFC title all four years.

  • @labarum312 I Forgot About That League Which Technically Doesn't Count If You're Talking About NFL/Super Bowls ,Hell Then You'll Have To Count The AFL Champions Between 1960 - 1969 !!

  • @steelersjourney Understand I wasn't defending his view but just trying to make sense of where he got the other four.

  • @labarum312 Oh ,I Know Don't Worry About It Buddy !!

  • liveableClown-- Hey Clown Boy, do me a favor. Stay right here, dont move. I want my Steeler friends to experience you, before you become EXTINCT! Seriously, listening to your Diatribes is like spending a year with Archie Bunker. LOL Talk about CONVOLUTED Logic. Holy shit!! LMFAO

  • I'm a die hard Ravens fan, but I still watching an amazing highlight like this. I can only imagine the utter shock and joy if it were my team on the winning end of this play.

  • @wheaties2000 As Much As I Hate To Say This I Actually Thought The Ravens Were Going To Win The Super Bowl This Year !!

  • @steelersjourney As fellow Steelers fans we must agree. We thought we were the only Steelers fans who thought that. Well, think of it like this - the only reason Gronkowski missed that hail mary pass from Brady was because he got messed up and injured in the Ravens game. So the Pats may have stopped the Ravens from being IN the SB but the Ravens stopped the Pats from WINNING the Super Bowl! And we say "Bully for the Ravens for that!"

  • @tjrxk7 The Good News Is The Giants Stopped The Packers From Repeating ,The 49ers From Tying Us At 6 Super Bowl Wins And The Patriots Bill Belicheat From Tying Chuck Noll With 4 Super Bowls Wins As A Coach .The Bad News Is The NFC Has Won The Last Three Super Bowls And If The 49ers Ever Can Find Their Offense With That Defense Look Out !!

  • Comment removed

  • @steelersjourney And don't forget,as far as QBs' Super Bowl rings go check it out: Terry Bradshaw won 4 SB rings in 6 years. Joe Montana did it in 9. Tom "spygate" Brady has been with the Pats since 2001. You do the math.

  • @tjrxk7 The Really Cool Thing About The Steelers Of The 70's Was Not Only Did They Produce 4 Super Bowl Wins In 6 Years (2 Of Them By Repeat) ,But 22 Players Have 4 Super Bowl Rings And 9 Of Them Ended Up In The Pro Football Hall Of Fame .Now Think About That ,It's Hard To Get One Player With 4 Rings On One Team. The 49ers Have 5 From The 1980's 6 If You Count The Super Bowl In 1995 But You Get The Point !

  • @wheaties2000 As a Steelers fan I have much respect for the Ravens. I know it's no concilation but the Pats might have kept you guys out of SB XLVI but you guys kept the Pats from winning the game with what the Ravens did to Gronkowski and messed him up real good in your playoff game with that high ankle sprain he had to play in the SB with. No doubt desperate Brady thought he could have made that hail mary catch right at the end of the game. I thoroughly loved it!!!

  • Who has a VHS of this broadcast from 1998 I can have?

  • If Raiders #20 doesn't put up his hands in victory, he probably recovers in time to push Franco out of bounds (but still in FG range)

  • @geeksrpeeps2 True But By Then The Clock Would Of Ran Out Probably !!

  • lol first heard of this in a book.

  • Barely out of the pocket.

    Bounces off helmet.

And Franco Harris catches it OFF THE TIP OF HIS FOOT?

    Glorious.

  • Because of that one play? How in the hell are our steelers lucky? 6 superbowls aren't luck. It's the mark of true champions, which has become the identity of the pittsburgh steelers. How in the hell can webe one of the luckiest teams ever when we have lost 4 afc championships, and lost in two super bowls, and that bullshit game against Denver two weeks ago in the afc wildcard?

  • @michaeljackson1978 How 'bout that Tebow, eh?

  • @michaeljackson1978 Chuck Noll Even Said It .This One Play Is The Pittsburgh Steelers In A Nut Shell .Doing What Ever It Takes To Win Games When Most Of America Is Watching !!

  • best play ever by best team ever

  • There should have been a flag on Tatum for a hit on a defenseless receiver when he hit Fauqua. Oh I'm sorry this game was played wayyyy before Roger "The Fairy" Goodell ruined it.

  • @bnegs521 Damn That Was Funny Man ,Very Funny And Very True !!

  • Amazing, Bradshaw almost didn't get it off, the ball could have been knocked out of his hand and Franco just did make it in. If #20 would have been a step closer he could have shoved him out of bounds.

  • This gave me chills watching this.

  • This thing gives me chills each and every time I watch it. Truly devine!

  • *cont*

As can be ascertained from the replay, the ball could not have hit Tatum's helmet.

But to bounce back with that much force, it would HAVE to hit a helmet!!!

    Yes, it would.

It hit Fuqua's helmet, and bounced back.

And that, Steeler fan, is against the rules.

    Hence, the immaculate deception.

  • SamuelrosenDumbAss-- PROFOUND JEALOUSY! Make that OBVIOUS PROFOUND JEALOUSY. ESPN Recently PROVED totally otherwise. Too bad you missed it. Oh wait, it would have made No difference because of your AGENDA. You may continue to HUMILIATE yourself even though the FACTS are now out there, For ALL to see. LMFAO at you!

  • CLASSIC! TOTAL CLASSIC!

  • @WizzoPro9476 - I agree 100%, the voice of Curt Gowdy just brings back so many memories of watching games as a youngster, baseball, football, and basketball, a legendary broadcaster he was...

  • Immaculate DECEPTION.

The ball hit the offensive player first.

  • @samuelrosenbalm Either You're A Raider Fan Or You Need A Glasses !!

  • @steelersjourney Here is the problem...

Look at the force of the ball going backwards @ 0:07-0:09.

Usually, when a ball in the air hits the defensive player, it is either intercepted, or batted down, or bounces off in another direction.

The force at which that ball went BACKWARDS, is something that I have never seen before. There is no way the ball could have hit Tatum's hands or chest and bounce back that hard. No, it would have to hit a HELMET to bounce back with that much force. *cont*

  • @samuelrosenbalm Well The Way I See It Is Tatum Was Coming At Full Speed And Not Only Got There To Deflect The Ball But Almost Intercepted It .But They Both Collided The And Ball Bounced Backwards And Since It Never Hit The Ground It Was Still A Live Ball .Now The Only Way A Football Can Bounce Backwards Is If It Hits Something Or Someone Which It Had To !!

  • @steelersjourney It was illegal in that era for an offensive player to catch a deflection UNLESS it was deflected by the DEFENSIVE player.

If the ball hits an OFFENSIVE player, deflects and is caught by the OFFENSIVE PLAYER it was not intended for, it's called an ILLEGAL TOUCH.

If that play happened today, there would be no controversy - they've since changed the rules to allow it.

But back then, it would have been called back - but the refs didn't because they'd have a riot on their hands.

  • @samuelrosenbalm I Still Say It Was To Close To Call .The Ball Did Look Like Jack Tatum Almost Made An Interception Because Of The Way He Acted Like He Dropped It .Some Say Frenchy Fuqua Caught It First Then It Was Knocked Out By Jack Tatum .Some Even Say They Both Touched The Ball And Hit Each Other At The Same Time .All I Know Is It Has For Ever Gone Down As The Greatest Catch To End A Playoff Game In NFL History And Some People For Some Reason Can't Except That !!

  • @steelersjourney I don't dispute it's historical significance, nor do I blame the referees.

I think if they had instant replay back then the way they do today, the call would have been upheld. I do not think there is irrefutable visual evidence to overturn it.

If they had ruled that Fuqua touched it first, then I don't think there would be evidence to overturn that.

So I think the Refs did the right thing.

It is just my personal "feeling" that Fuqua touched it first.

  • @samuelrosenbalm Too Damn Bad They Can't Take That Old Film And Run It Through Todays Video/Computers To See If That Play Would Of Counted Back Then With The Rules Of 1972 And If That Play Would Of Counted In Todays Rules Of 2012 .But Being As Popular As It Was Who Would Try To Take Away What The Steelers Did And Became After That .Can You Imagine If They Replayed The Catch From Joe Montana To Dwight Clark And Found The 49ers Were Holding On The Play And It Was Never Called ?

  • @steelersjourney People have tried to run that play through computers and even scientists have tried to give their two cents on who touched it first - people have different opinions and I don't think we will ever know for sure.

The ruling on the field was that Tatum touched it first, and I think it would have been upheld seeing as how that is the original ruling and there isn't sufficient evidence to overturn it.

Me, it just think the whole thing is odd.

  • @samuelrosenbalm That Was A Once In A Million Catch For A Winning Touchdown .Just Curious What Is Your Take On The Raiders Holly Rolier ? What Was The Odds Of That Play Winning A Game ? It Seems The Raiders Have Been On Both Ends Of Historical And Controversy Plays Way Before Instant Replay Was Out !!

  • @steelersjourney The Holy Roller was a lucky ass play. Ghost to the Post was another.

The Raiders have had some of the luckiest things happen for them.

In fact, the Cowboys, Raiders, and Steelers are probably the luckiest ass teams ever.

    lol :)

That is why they say it is better to be lucky than good.

For a while, the Steelers were both.

  • @samuelrosenbalm You Don't Think The Steelers Are Lucky Now Do You ? I Mean There Has To Be Some Skill To Being The Best Team Since The NFL/AFL Merger In 1970 (Look It Up If You Don't Believe Me) .I Think They've Been Very Furtunate To Have Had So Many Great Players Through The Years And Only 3 Coaches Since 1969 Is Unmatched By Any Team In Pro Sports !!

  • @steelersjourney Like I said on my previous comment, I think the Cowboys, Raiders, and Steelers are the luckiest teams in football.

Sure, all of those teams had great players - but they did get lucky.

Cowboys - Hail Mary, Staubach comebacks

Raiders - Holy Roller, Ghost to the Post

Steelers - Immaculate Reception, Super Bowl Harrison, Swann, Holmes catch

I say all those teams got lucky.

    But...

    But...

The Steelers have always been great, yes.

  • @samuelrosenbalm Well If You Put It Like That Every Team In All Sports That Are Great Because Of The Talent They Had Or Have You Have To Have Luck Too .But That Just Comes When You're Good .Look At Michael Jordan As Great As He Was He Got Away With A Push Off Against The Jazz In The Bulls Last Of 6 Championships Because He's MJ And Could Get Away With Stuff Like That .But If You Just Skin Him And It's A Foul And He Shoots Two Free Throws !!

  • @steelersjourney heck yeah! Even though I am a slim fan of the Steelers, there very lucky. It bounced off his helmet and he caught it, one of the BEST plays of ALL TIME!

  • Comment removed

  • samuelrosen- Excuse me, 3 weeks ago ESPN ran a 2 hour special about the Immaculate Reception-- With their current equipment, they were able to show the Ball DISTINCTLY hit off Tatums RIGHT Shoulder. The Video left NO DOUBT! The video also showed Franco caught the ball a FULL 2 INCHES above the ground. The 5 Man Panel agreed there was NO QUESTION on either play. Oh wait, what does ESPN and SPORTS ILLUSTRATED know? You, the average Joe Blow fan knows better, right?

    Change your handle to JEALOUSY!

  • @SteelerGold1 ESPN and Sports illustrated have a profit motive. I have no reason to lie.

Yes, it is a physical impossibility for that ball to fly back with that amount of force, unless it hit object harder than a shoulder pad - I use to play football and know how shoulder pads feel. No, that ball hit something harder. Like a helmet. Fuqua's helmet.

Scientists have tried to analyze that tape for years and couldn't be certain of anything.

And you want me to believe a bunch of stupid ex-players?

  • SamuelrosenAss- Technology moves forward. Too bad your Primate brain has difficulty keeping up with it. Again, what was shown is a replay that left NO Question that the Ball hit DIRECTLY off Tatums RIGHT SHOULDER. Clear, Clean & Distinct. Sounds like someone is holding on to an Agenda, possibly a Raiders fan. Guess what Pal, YOU LOSE. No doubt ESPN will run the program again. Bring your Pet Chimp for Verification. Also SPORTS ILLUSTRATED ran an article Proving the ball hit off Tatums shoulder

  • samuelAgenda- but but but but, In another post you said regards the IR, it was YOUR PERSONAL FEELING the call was incorrect. That sure beats hell out of anything ESPN now Possesses. Using High Technology the NFL Channel also concurs. Oh wait, they must have an agenda after viewing the latest video on the subject, right? What a waste of time it was watching that 2 hr special, when i could have just Relied on your PERSONAL FEELINGS over the Video which DISTINCTLY showed it bounced off Tatum

    LOL

  • @SteelerGold1

You really are a moron. You really think you have some say, don't you?

    Now that I find amusing!

  • samuelMoron- You simply dont have a Viable comeback, so you post a one sentence reply in hopes of covering up your inadequacies As per having some say, its not difficult when dealing with the Sub Primate mind. Trust me Sir. Chimp, i forgot more about the game than what you possibly know. It may be a good idea to check out my home page before EMBARRASSING yourself, yet again. Believe me, i have Truly to open up on you yet. Thousands will read this thread, Thousands will LAUGH/GUFFAW at you.

  • samuelrosenbalmTheTubeTard-- Do us a Favor, tell us all about YOUR PERSONAL FEELINGS in the matter again. In lieu of FACTS, that should work great in a Court of Law. LOL LOL

  • Comment removed

  • samuelrosenASS- So this Monkey has the NEED to Hide behind Grammar issues on the Tube no less, in order to cover up his inadequacies when it comes to his SUPERIOR! Then this CHIMP proceeds to try & Impress his MASTER with his so called use of the English Language most Obviously Googled no doubt. My Chimp is driven by SHEER DESPERATION! So tell us Sir Monk, who sold you the .10 Words? Inquiring minds want to know. LOL LOL HINT: I'M OBVIOUSLY LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF YOU SUB PRIMATE. YOUR SO MAD. LOL

  • samuelMoron Dear Monkey, You are about as entertaining as a child's inflatable punching toy. You bop it, it springs back, you bop it again and you forget it ever existed. It slowly deflates in an unused corner, then one day you throw it away. You are nastier than a five-dollar whore getting a shit enema. You're a waste of time, space, air, flesh, and the rectum you were born from, retard. Maybe you wouldn't be such a Jerk-In-The-Box if you weren't living proof that stupid people should not breed

  • @SteelerGold1 Go away, you're a child.

  • samuelrosenAss-- You went from posting one full sentence to 1/2 a sentence. TRANSLATION: You are much too Intelligent for me to keep up with. By posting a 1/2 sentence reply, it cuts down on the Embarrassment coming from your keys. I only hope i'm not as OBVIOUS to all the others reading this.....Sincerely, Your Chimp Bitch

    BTW---YOUR DONE HERE!

  • SamuelrosenChimp- "Its just a PERSONAL feeling that Fuqua touched it"?????????????? PERSONAL FEELING EH? Oh hell, if i had known that, i would have agreed with you in the first place. PERSONAL FEELING HUH????? In a Court of law, you win by a preponderance of the Evidence. NOT! Please, stop the HUMILIATION already. PERSONAL FEELING HUH????? LOL LOL ROTFLMFAO!

  • @steelersjourney lol that would be stupid if they make the decision that it was imcomplete 40 years later xD

  • How bout Tebow time u STEELER fucks haha

  • @877LLB Yea Got To Admit We Got Our @sses Handed To Us .Worst Time Of The Year To Have Your Worst Defense Game !!

  • @877LLB You and Godboy have got a couple of hail-marys left, so enjoy 'em while you can before Pat Bowlen throws a shit-fit when they don't win a Super Bowl in the next two years. We'll be back while Fox and Timmy Boy get carted off to the glue factory. And address that oxygen deprivation problem you horsey fans have up there in Colorado 'cause you've got it bad, us Steeler fans are used to being trolled by the best.

  • @877LLB only reason steelers lost is because big ben is injured

  • This is the only film/video where you can see what actually happened. After all the disputes and arguing, this proves it was a good TD. I'm a Bengals fans, so I hate the Steelers, but at this point in NFL history the Bengals—Steelers rivalry hadn't really gotten started yet and I hated the Raiders more than the Steelers, so, while watching this game live, I was happy when this happened. I was actually (gasp) rooting for the Steelers, something that would never happen again.

  • Still gives you chills. I'm glad to be a Steeler fan,,,could be worse...I could be a Jets or Browns fan....LOL!!!!

  • Jack Tatum deflects it.

  • Fuck u chowder head bitches ur defense sucks and fuck ur redsox too frisco giants beeotches!!!!! Best pitching staff on the planet!!!!! W

  • big steelers

  • davis "gowd why did you let that play happen??"...God " get over it"

  • Speaking of the broncos they robbed us also in a playoff game so they can eat shit as well

  • @877LLB That's Why You're Stupid Raiders Haven't Done Anything Since Getting Their Asses Kicked Against The Buccaneers 48-21 In The Super Bowl A Few Years Ago .I Actually Thought After Al Davis Had Died And You Guys Got Carson Palmer You Would Be Better But You're Team Still Blows ,Here We Go Steelers ,Here We Go !!

  • @steelersjourney ha the steelers aint in the superbowl

  • @kill28illuminati At Least We Won It 6 Times ,Can Any Team Say That ?

  • @steelersjourney i know they are a good franchise and a good team but as a raider fan i freaking hate them, i hope the raiders get their shit straight so when we play against each other they create moments like this

  • @steelersjourney why do you capitalize every word you type?

  • @stackguy5674 Because I'm Not Only Used To It ,But You Can Tell The Difference From My Typing On Facebook Then From Spam . Why Don't You Capitalize The First Letter Of The First Word In A Sentence ? Or Why Do You Put The Question Mark Right Next To The Last Letter In The Last Word Of A Sentence ? Why Does Anybody Do Anything Without Being Questioned ? Why ,Why ,Why ?

  • @877LLB don't be mad brah... it was in 1972. let it go.

  • @lennytard Well I'm Like Any Other Fan Especially Steeler Fans That Will Back Up Their Team You Would Do The Same For Yours !!

  • @877LLB

you and your fag raiders can eat some doritios and watch us in the superbowl bitch

  • @877LLB you my friend must be from Cleveland or worse yet a Jets fan... that Gangasta Holmes is doing great there isn't he????

  • Geez, I hate receivers. At 0:38 the receiver is jogging across the middle with his hands up like he is saying, "What's the problem? I'm open!".

  • That was some straight bull

  • As a Raiders fan I've pretty much come to be at peace with the 'Immaculate Reception" I'm a grown man of 46 years old now and I'm too mature and have too much perspective to be bothered by a play that happened when I was 7 years old watching with my father.

Of course what I just wrote is complete and total bull**** but it makes me feel better.

  • @neneshubby lol!

  • If this happened today there would be 20 different angels.

This is the Zapruder Film of NFL Films

  • NFL Network needs to get the full game aired!

  • @Navdan87 Amen To That !!

  • @Navdan87

I totally agree with you, but it will NEVER happen. The networks won't ever bother with anything more than clips of the game unless a pirated version comes out.

The NFL actually has a partial Super Bowl I CBS recording and it is tied up in legal bullshit.

If it were not for a pirated CBC (Canadien Broadcast Company) recording, Super Bowl IV would not exist....and the only known Super Bowl V is a 10 minute segment of the 2nd quarter. There is no known Super Bowl II coverage at all.

  • @Navdan87

It was actually a pretty dull game (as I remember it. it was a long time ago) up until the last 2 minutes or so. Not that I wouldn't want to see it again. I would.

  • @Navdan87 The question is whether the tape of the full game even still exists.

  • @CKO92 , I was reading a story about how they found network footage of Super Bowl 1 last February. They found the video in Pennsylvania, although the halftime was missing. Still, 90 minutes worth of that is AWESOME! I've been searching for an update to the story, hoping maybe that the footage will be released soon....

  • @Navdan87 the full game has been lost.

  • I quote Kenny Stabler:

"I thought running for 35 yards for a touchdown against that Steeler defense was a miracle so I guess Pittsburgh deserved one too."

  • @WatchVenusSpa

I've seen a lot of clips about this game, never heard that till I read it. Thats funny how Stabler summed it up.

  • @SFFOOL76 He said that in his book.

  • @WatchVenusSpa Yea What Was He Doing Running Like That ? He Had No Business Running ,But Against The Steel Curtain I Guess He Had No Choice !!

  • @steelersjourney Hey I remember when the Steelers beat our asses in the superbowl! That was the only chance we were ever going to get, being the Seattle seahawks. But still, Im not gonna blame the refs. That was a great game, and Hines ward deserved the SB MVP.

  • @jumperdude101 That Game Was Pretty Close To The Forth Quarter ,Steelers Only Led 14-10 Until Flee Flicker To Ward Put The Game Away .I Had A Friend Who Was A Big Seahawks Fan Durring The Steve Largent Days .He Was One Of The Fastest White Wide Receivers Ever !!

  • Love it .

  • So much cooler than the NFL Films version

  • look at the fans going ape... legendary

  • This footage is not from the original broadcast. This version of the clip came from the Super Bowl XXXII version of The NFL on NBC Pregame Report.

  • @FutureNewsAnchor And They Took It From The Original Game .But I Think You're Right About The Broadcasting Part That's The Steelers Announcers I Believe !!
