This is not a Pontus dance! The Pontus version is called Pentozalis. And it gives differrences between the laz and the pontus version. only the instruments are the same.

This is a Pontian Greek dance, I am not being rude the Turkish people, but the Pontian Greeks and most possibly Turkish use the same music and dance.

@kalopsida Well, this is from the north-east side of Turkey (Trabzon). The more west you go in Turkey, the dances are different. But you are right, the Greek and Turkish culture (dance, food, music) look alike a lot. That's no coincidence, as you learned in your history classes, you know that Turkish people are the original Turks (originating from mid-Asia, decedents from Genghis Khan) mixed with Caucasus, Arab and Greek people.
