If you want something more permanent then your best bet would be to buy the DVD/BD.
I like the return to UC and the looks of Zeon/Federation suits, couldn't stand Seed in any capacity. So much talk about feelings and hugs with this, but somehow I saw that coming. I do like the nod to Amuro Ray earlier in the episode.
Hero my ass. That blonde dude should have piloted the gundam. He could do what needed to be done. The real pilot was just another pansy emo-kid... sigh... Can we get another pilot like Heero, Trowa, or even Wu Fei. They were all great soldiers and did what needed to be done. Hell even Duo.
@xaayer first Banagher is the only one who could pilot the unicorn, a gift from his father so he may change the world, the qualities that you say make him a pansy are what gives him the ability to overcome the violent nature of the N-TD mode and it's because he could see that Loni was fighting not for her own beliefs but chasing the ghosts of her parents this makes Banagher a better soilder than the Wing cast. A soilders job is to defend and resolve conflict with as few a casualties as possible.

I love alot of the gundam series but man....maybe we need more grownups in the mix instead of agnst driven teenager's crying about their parent's and how everyone has to die. For once can we have someone in their late 20's or early 30's piloting a gundam.
@rcmodder i agree with you mostly, i just tend to go into each gundam series with the outlook that a lot of kids are caught up in the nonsense of war, maybe thats part of the reason why they use "angsty" teenagers, i'd much rather watch an emotion driven war anime with teens, then have them animate 20-30-40 year olds to take the kids place that show little to know emotion, i also recommend Char's Counterattack if you dislike 15 year olds crying about people dying...cause that doesnt make sense.
@rcmodder Domon from G Gundam..Herro and Setsuna are almost emotionless killing machines. 08th MS Team, 0083 Stardust Memories, F91..I think.. But hey Amuro was just like this at one point so im not complaining. Personally im more of a fan of the emotionless not giving a fuck pilots like Herro and Setsuna are. Kamile from Zeta was pretty badass too.

My favorite part is when Loni the character, realizes she's gonna die @ 8:21, after Kirks tells her. It's like she just understood the reality of it all. Just top notch writing and execution of animation facial gestures. At least that's what I think is what the character is thinking. See that's why she tears, not just that her war is over, and she was pursuing an illusion, but her demise is certain.

Dude, attention to detail is one of the things that makes this series. When he fired RX-0's Beam Rifle, the recoil damaged the shoulder of his mobile suit. The reflection on his visor in the scene right after showed a malfunction on that shoulder after firing. SO KOOL
dude of course flit is better than banager because Banager is not a new type if he is the NT-D or New Type Destroy system will kill himself, and btw to those who want to know what happen at 6:03 is that their shield are colliding through their power
If not, it isn't enough for him to pilot the NT-D activated Unicorn for a long period of time. The system WILL NOT attack him (WTF??) as he is registered his biometrics in the Unicorn, and he'll be the only one to pilot it.

Well we do know that Banagher deeply respects human life. There is also the fact that Loni was not reeking havoc of her own free will, she was literally being enslaved by the "runaway" Psychoframe. Also, considering how Banagher was going on about trying to end conflicts without having to resort to fighting, since it causes the cycle of hatred to repeat itself, one could assume that Banagher was trying to prove his point.

@MekeniJess I think it's actually kind of clear he was trying to detonate his reactor. I don't think honor was an issue at all - it was more that he had no other way he could imagine going (as in he couldn't accept death without fighting to the end).
@aznninjahitman You're right. In the UC timeline, when the nuke engine got shot by a beam weapon, it'd start chain reaction and explode. You can see that a lot in VG, but it also happened in ep.1 to that ReZEL captain type, taken by Marida. So it's likely Kirks wants to take the Tristar with him here.

In episode 2 it showed Riddhe could sense Banagher launching in the unicorn, indicating he has some newtype senses. I wonder why he couldn't sense anything here? The psychoframe output from the unicorn and shamblo was really cranked up there.

Loni's Sieg Zeon rant broke me into tears, it could only remind me of all the brave and poor souls who died saying that phrase. It really lets you know what the Zabist and Neo Zeon have really done to these people. Though I love the Zeons, I have forever hated it when fans yell out mindlessly Sieg Zeon, being they must truely not understand the sadness surrounding the Zeons. The fight has forever been a lie to them.

I read online that they really changed this sequence to make Loni into a more tragic figure. The Shambloo was piloted by her father and brothers in the novel but when she tries to stop them she tells Banagher where to shoot.
@tichassbitty SEED was a good re-interpretation of the original Gundam 0079. I can say that as a fan of both Universal Century series and other Alternate Universe series. I love SEED, so much that I'm working on a re-envisioning project to "U.C.-ify" it. XD I'll turn Destiny into the proper Zeta re-interpretation as it was meant to be!
U.C. is still superior to any AU series though, but it doesn't mean the rest are bad, lol.
That whole scene was a huge reference to the death of Four Muramasa, which is sort of a reference to the death of Lalah. Morale of story : Girls in giant mobile armors in Gundam do not usually have a long lifespan after getting into one.

In episode 2 it showed Riddhe could sense Banagher launching in the unicorn, indicating he has some newtype senses. I wonder why he couldn't sense anything here? The psychoframe output from the unicorn and shamblo was really cranked up there.

Loni's Sieg Zeon rant broke me into tears, it could only remind me of all the brave and poor souls who died saying that phrase. It really lets you know what the Zabist and Neo Zeon have really done to these people. Though I love the Zeons, I have forever hated it when fans yell out mindlessly Sieg Zeon, being they must truely not understand the sadness surrounding the Zeons. The fight has forever been a lie to them.

Whether they're a cartoon or not does not really matter, their are live action films which are dramatically worse than al ot of animated films in fact I think their are more worse live action films % wise than animated. lol

I read online that they really changed this sequence to make Loni into a more tragic figure. The Shambloo was piloted by her father and brothers in the novel but when she tries to stop them she tells Banagher where to shoot.

@tichassbitty SEED was a good re-interpretation of the original Gundam 0079. I can say that as a fan of both Universal Century series and other Alternate Universe series. I love SEED, so much that I'm working on a re-envisioning project to "U.C.-ify" it. XD I'll turn Destiny into the proper Zeta re-interpretation as it was meant to be!
U.C. is still superior to any AU series though, but it doesn't mean the rest are bad, lol.

That whole scene was a huge reference to the death of Four Muramasa, which is sort of a reference to the death of Lalah. Morale of story : Girls in giant mobile armors in Gundam do not usually have a long lifespan after getting into one.
