There will almost certainly be a repeat. Someone at the Penny Arcade panel at the San Diego Comic Con asked Tycho if he would sing Belruel again if the guy asked him, and Tycho agreed to do it. Assuming he shows, I imagine we'll get another rendition of Belruel. Hell, I'll probably get in line myself in case he doesn't, just to make sure we get it.

If Jerry or Mike are lurking here at all, I just want them to know that things like this song are why there is a PAX. It sums up perfectly everything I loved about PAX, and about Gabe and Tycho in general.

Tycho's actually had a separate band for a long time. I don't know if they actually ever play any more given how busy he gets with the PA projects, but you can find references to it if you trawl the PA newspost archives.

Seeing this in person was stunning. "Tycho" has a voice well-suited to this song, and the acoustics of the room definitely helped. It actually sounds better in this format than in the original .mp3 version.
