hey man! thanks! yes, i consider myself a beginner still. lol. to be honest i can't really say how i "trained" myself to use both hands separately man. i don't think i ever needed to do that... it's sort of one of those things i just "knew" i guess. what i would first try to do is play chords (only chords) with BOTH hands then as time goes by try to isolate the right hand for playing mainly individual notes, follow a melody, play scales, licks and riffs. that is it's main job of the right hand.

Wow thank you!! hmmm..i will say that (honestly) it usually takes me about an hour or less to learn most songs on piano -- but then again i also play them in the most basic way.. to learn this whole song took me around 45 minutes i would say once i had the chords in front of me (the hardest to tackle were the verses and the simpliest was the bridge). i do believe i have checked out your original song post also, i will double check and be sure to leave you a comment. Ohhh okay lol, the rhythm style i use is called 'Rave'..it should be #21 on your keyboard -- you would need to set it to about 88 beats per minute (bpm) and set the accompanient volume to around 100. Then pre-configure your keyboard transpose to level '4'. finally use the split keyboard function and use tone 007 in your left hand and 011 in your right. then just play the intro: Am7, C-Major, G-major and D/F#...hope that helps!

yeah I would love that; i think it would be pretty cool!! 2 people i know already gave it a go and it came out pretty decent.. the only thing is that my piano is a kids keyboard more or less so the sound coming out of it is not that great...anyhoo, that's why i tell people to use headphones because it makes the quality of pure sound 2 times better.. i think...but we'll see what we can do down the road.
