Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the only way to atone for your sins. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice because He lived a life without sin and died for you. I thank the Lord that you didn't go astray from him even after seeing how your friend handled a simular situation. I pray that God will continue to abundantly bless you spiritually, physically, mentally, and financially.

My parents are divorced too, but i delt with my emotions by using the help of the people around me that loved me and i got through it. Now everyone is much better off.
Was this also god? No. We did it. because we cared about one another and we helped each other. God doesn;t sustain you m8, the people you love and your own strenght get you through life.
I think you are just atributing normal human interaction that we find all over the world for the effects of god.

Their beliefs are based on real life events; real conversation with God. Their testimonies are all the same. Jesus said that we are cut off from a Holy God and are reconciled by the blood of Jesus, not church membership orbeing "religious". My faith is based on the person and life of Jesus, if others believe differently, that's entirely their choice. We all exercise faith in something, even those of no faiths! Jesus said "I am the way,truth life"

Sounds like an awesome experience, unfortunately I've had no such luck, I've tried religion, psychedelics, everything. The most spiritual experiences I've ever had has been through my imagination, whilst day dreaming as a kid or writing stories as an adult, or whilst around nature.
