its not purpose intended, they were trying to incorperate every feature of each landrover into the design but they wanted to keep the front more freelander looking.

I don't get it, land rover isn't with ford anymore, yet this is the same looking as the ford exploder, what a rip !

@davewhodavedunn land rover seperated from Ford & Volvo in late 2009, and that was one of their last joint partnership designs

@davewhodavedunn The Land Rover LR2 shares no components with the Ford SUV's. However, the chassis is shared with the new Volvo XC60.
