@fujiguys I got the camera today, but Ive been watching some vids, and the sound on it doesnt seem to good... I would like to get a heads up before I unbox everything and stuff, how is the sound on the camera?
Thank you for the video, fujifilm can make this camera in pink and yellow colors because is a classic colors and is no fear for the girls or woman ha ha ha for the guy have a black and blue and gray maybe others colors like pink or lilac o violet or yellow is like unisex, thank you
@dulceaguadelpozo Camera does come in various colours including Green, Black, Blue, Orange, White however Canada is only bringing in the XP30 in Blue. Other colours available in other countries
Does anyone know when the XP30 will be available in Hong Kong and Shanghai? I want to buy it for a trip to Asia from the beginning of March onwards but in my country (Netherlands) it won't be available until half March.
If one were to buy a unit from the US and bring it to Canada, does the warranty stand? Or is the warranty only valid in the country of purchase? I want the orange one!!!
@gummi67 Purchased only from Fujifilm authorized retailer in the US, Fujifillm Canada will honour warranty (Only 1 Year however). Fujifilm models purchased in Canada carry a 2 Year Warranty.
@gummi67 Mainly has to due with pricing as the non GPS is $30 less so many retailers prefer that instead. If market demands change, we may consider other colours too.
Hi! Can you provide a link to a owners manual PDF please? Want to know more about the GPS specs (# of sats it connects to chipset etc) and what info gets put in the metatag of the jpg.

Camera records Latitude and Longitude Display, Landmark and Place Name Display, On-board GPS calculates and displays the distance from present location to the place where a tagged photo was taken. GPS tags generated in a log file can be displayed on Google Maps to plot your route on a PC running MyFinePix Studio software. Check out finepix.com/gps/en/ for more info.

@WorldCupKid Using a DSLR with a cheap kit lense. Had to use for the external mic input option which makes editing for me easier.

@Marturtle XP30 should be available Mid March, 2011 for Canada. HK may be slightly earlier.

Oh additionally the outside of the camera is it all steel construction or are there plastic parts as well as metal?
