you can do this in the color corrector in like 10 seconds with the limit effect. but this is pretty cool too...little more sophistacated

I'd love to find out how to achieve this in Shake! I've tried but can't figure out how to apply an HSL key in the same manner. Getting nowhere fast. Any tips? I'd appreciate more than words can describe!!

(sorry for my english)

use "chromakey" node and connect to input image, pick the yellow color,

adjust "chromakey" setting,

other connect "saturation" node to input image

desaturate the image,

(you can use "switchMatte" node to connect other mask "Rososhape" for extract yellow artefact.

you need just 3 nodes to do that

et voilà

You can even do it in Final Cut Pro using Color Corrector 3-way effect. For me it's faster without sending to Color, and then rendering... I preffer to do that effect in FCP :)

just import the .mov file to FCP, then drop the clip down on the timeline, then go to File, Send, Color. ;)
