  • No animals were harmed in making of this film

  • R.I.P This cat.

  • It's a little fall for a cat, but a giant leap for humanity.

  • this cat deserves the oscar award

  • Is it possible that this cat is still alive?

  • @stewielove101 No, cats don't even live longer than humans do you really think whey would live 120 years?

  • @stewielove101 yes it is still alive...the cat is in a film museum you can go visit it

  • @stewielove101 Not possible! The sequel has the cat being run over by a car.... a very sad for the filming industry, and yet surprisingly, THAT was his last movie.

  • @stewielove101 Not Possible! The cat did make other movies and was very popular in Hollywood. But his last movie was a full length (10 second) movie which showed him getting run over by a car. THAT, surprisingly, was his last movie.

  • Best...movie...EVER

  • HA AVATAR IS SHIT IN FRONT OF THIS1!

  • Remarkable! Four stars! I bet if we went back and time and showed the "Avatar" they would all have heart attacks.

  • That does not look like it is from 1890.. it seems like technology I see here is more advanced than that. I'm no expert, so I could definitely be mistaken.

  • @nopoopallowed it's a 2 seconds long movie, it ain't that impossible in 1890...it's just all about images taken per second, in which you put it all together so the pictures "move" and it becomes a "motion picture" or a movie if you like

  • Where is the crazy Republican to call the cat a fascist and communist pig?

  • "A" for action, "F" for character development.

  • woah.. do you think the cat is still alive????? :p

  • @ThunderD15 hahaha that was 120 years ago....so no...the cat is dead

  • wherez meh cheezburgers?

  • That cat should be nominated for a posthumous Oscar

  • It's amazing to get an insight into how cats fell in the 1800s

  • It's Keyboard Cat's great great great great great great great grandmother!

  • looks like my cat. lol

  • It does exactly what the title says... No unexpected twist.

  • Mesmerising

  • My favorite part is when the cat landed. It was about time the film ended. It just dragged on and on.

  • Mr.dusty bones vs PETA epic fail lol

  • Also, this was a bad take because the cat's paw moves twice at the end.

  • Animal cruelty! Sue the man that did this!!

  • Blimey, thought this video would never end, just kept dragging on and the ending could of been more spectacular.

  • I heard the sequel: "Cat Falling Up" is much more entertaining!

  • is catty still alives???

  • After 119 years, I doubt it.

  • Yes.

  • He's soooooo fucking very DEAD

  • @Solarsonic17 Sadly it was discover in a old newpaper clipping that this feline was tragically killed in 1902 when it was struck by a Model T pick-up going about 12 miles per hour.

  • holy crap.

    the CAT IS FALLING.

    kewll =D

  • do you think this cat is still alive?

  • Oh, definitely! The cat looks about 2-5 in this video, so it would only be 121-124 years old as of 2009. LOL!! =P

  • Oh no its dead LOL .

  • 0:1 - some crazy shit!!

  • whats the point?

  • Date: 1890

  • I liked the part where the cat fell

  • xDD

  • What part of the video is that?

  • cant remember, i think its near the end.

  • this cat probably has millions of ancestors alive today. amazing.

  • lol it's the gard grand grand grand gard grand grand grand gard grand grand grand gard grand grand grand father of my cat

  • don't u mean descendents

  • I like watching the movement of the cat with the video technology of that time. Cats always land on their feet.

  • Biedny kotek

  • the cat fell from the Sky the end

  • lol cat have been around forever idiot

  • I think he's kidding. Who's 'dee dee dee?'

  • no just for arround 1million years

  • Cats were first domesticated by Egyptians leik over 4,000 yrs. ago.

  • That's some housecat's great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandkitty. Seven generations ago, eight if he or she was promiscuous.

  • I'd never thought of it like that.

  • Seven generations ago would put the cat in about the year 2000 or so, haha. Cats breed fast.

  • just think that cat will be dead now lol

  • Gone to that big Chinese restaurant in the sky.

  • Good one LOL

  • wierd

  • the first jackass stunt

  • That cat fell in slow motion

  • The fps rate was much MUCH slower then. That's why it appears that way.

YES I KNOW IT WAS A JOKE

  • Personaly, I never knew they had film in the 1800's. Very interesting. I'm guessing the person who ever did this wanted to study how the cat always lands on its legs.

  • I wish I could get stuff like this for a music video...

  • LOL

  • awwwwwwwwwwww... poor cat
