I'm seriously watching this just because it has Mark Gatiss in it. I bet I'm so going to get nightmares because I'm so sensitive, but I don't care. It's worth it. :'D
i love this! could somebody gives me the name of the music played just after the opening at 2.55. it 's like a music boxe, but i don't know if it's a music made for this or if it's a OST from a horror movie. thank you
I'm really enjoying Mark Gatiss in this series. He has a great narrative quality, I suppose I should have expected from him, but hadn't really considered before. Also, it's good to see these films presented by a true horror geek. Thanks for posting.
Totally agree with Gatiss: Frankenstein > Dracula. Lugosi might have the campy gothic value of Hungarian aristocracy but Karloff is light years ahead of him
I truly envy you, Mark Gatiss: Visiting the sets of Phantom of the Opera, looking at Lon Chaney´s make-up kit and Draculas bat, talking to the surviving cast members of Dracula,The Old Dark House and Son of Frankenstein, enjoying Horror Films in style.......and getting paid for it!
i loved this series thank you very much for posting :)

Can I just say how much I am in love with the timbre of Mark Gatiss's voice? I want him to read me bedtime stories.

Great series. It reminds me a little of Stephen King's book "Danse Macabre", which was also a love letter to horror cinema(as well as other things).

Anyone else half expect him to say "children of the night.. what a mess they make" like Leslie Nielsen?

Fantastic. I love the quote from Bela Lugosi: "Dracula is Hamlet to me"
I guess you knew what we'd be craving in October. Thanks for posting!
