when i mix my glitter with clear acrylic wen i apply it , it looks pretty...but once i file it ...it looks like it makes the color look kinda pale...and dead....lol......even if i put clear coat....do u think its because i need to use better quality powder and liquid???

im a biginner so ive been using REVLON clear acrylic powder and for the liquid ive been using some i purchased off ebay....from a hong kong seller........

any suddestions??

@Wbunny13 hey i'm not a professional or anything but i do my own nails and have learned some trix thanks to youtube :)

when i use glitter, I'll do a thin layer and then encapsulate with clear, this way your filing the clear not the glitter, if u dont make the clear think enough you'll file down to the glitter and then it doesn't look as clear and pretty, hope that helps :)

How come you don't go to the beauty supply store and get cosmetic grade glitter? Even wet n' wild makes a cosmetic grade glitter. That would definately probably work better! AAAnnnd its cheaper! Lol.
