This video is completely dishonest. Lucy's pelvis-hip joint is obviously more bipedal than any chimpanzee's. Not only that, but several other skeleton's of this species have been found, all confirming the angle of the pelvis.

those foot prints were very human like but there were slight diffrences in them when compared to modern humans!

lucy is not the only one of her kind to be discoverd we have other bones of her kind and lucys neck connected to the bottom of her head! and her knee bones were not like chimps! the guy with the power saw is trained in primate biology!

If you saw the other videos, you would have seen that other apes have agnls like humans, but you will not see them walking on their two feet.

The guy the the power saw made them fit the way he wanted, based on his idea, not based on the evidence. It i makes it harder to believe all the things he believed to make it more human like, than what the evidence suggests.

@Classicalhero7: Sorry bud. You need to see the full video and not just clips taken from it. The pelvis was bent thru 90 deg anteriolaterally with respect to the PSIS. It wasn't possible for any primate to have a hip like that. What was done was to make a cast and put it back together like you would a china cup. All the curves and edges had to match. And the result: A very human looking hip. Just what you would see in a biped.

According to his AiG bio, David Menton was at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri and never made it to full professor. His bio doesn't mention any scientific papers he has written. Lovejoy is a full professor who has written over a hundred article in scientific publications. I hope your readers will search on "lovejoy jellison lucy reconstruction" and click on the alliance for science link. Or they can just accept what this silly video says.
