@TiaVampire I still do O_O But that's just my opinion, and I have been listening to Evanescence for almost 6 years now- perhaps if I had known and listened to Carly longer, my opinion would be different. Amy Lee can hit really high and really low notes while carly's range is a bit lower, and some people prefer wider range in a vocalist. :P

she has such amazing control of her voice. unlike some other singers, when she belts the really high notes, she actually sounds like she's singing and not shouting.

Allie is an animal! I went from "Allie who?" to a believer in 10 minutes last December and now she's gone from 'never competed' to All-American and representing her country at worlds in just 18 months. (unless she opts out, having to go to the middle east and all) I bet that's never happened before.

I saw lots of Carly on American Idol, great singer. Too bad I couldn't make it down. Work demanded my presence.

Apparently she sang s several set list of songs at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championship awards dinner last night. My cousin may have got some video which I'll post if I can get my hands on it. She sang with guitar accompaniment a Katie Turnstall song, a Beatle's song, a Pink Floyd song and some others...
