And the best part of this is 4:03-4:12 when they focus on the drummer (Ryan Hoyle) and he gives that head shake and then a HUGE grin!!! You can tell that he LOVES IT!!!!!

Best live band I've ever heard. ZZ Top and Aerosmith do good too, but these guys are epic in a live performance. Excellent vocal talent and harmony in this band.

That's my funny story. They played Edgefest in Vancouver in 1997. There were 4 other awesome Canadian bands there...Tea Party, Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, Silverchair etc...but the ONLY reason I drove 6 hours to the concert was to see Collective Soul. They came on stage and sucked!!! They had NO energy, just going through the paces. But THEN, near the end, they busted into Crazy Train by Ozzy for about 20 minutes!!! They freaking tore the place down!!!

@travisxgreggxajax Alright, let's take it easy. Collective Soul is a solid band, and I'm a big fan, but to say they're the "greatest band ever" ... not even top 100 all time.

@LizAZ08 Led Zeppelin will forever be the greatest band ever. Not my favorite, but I recognize them as the greatest band ever. Comparing Collective Soul or Coldplay to them is foolish. My personal favorites are Dave Matthew's Band, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, and Incubus.

@Jurbo33 Very true man. These guys obviously love what they do. I just started listening to them about a year ago, and I had a lot of catching up to do. Lol. I normally listen to heavier stuff like metal/hardcore, but these guys are getting me into the other genres of rock. It takes true talent to do what they do.

i love this song and this band, the only thing i don't like about this performance is he doesn't seem to be playing the main riff, the same, it sounds different ... like different notes kinda different lol, but all in all who cares, i love this song and band

I think it sounds very similar to the CD. Can't get much closer when playing live as opposed to studio and all the editing and rollbacks on tape that goes on to get a great sound.

This was the song that made me a fan back in the mid '90's. Still give me goosebumps! Wonder why Will doesn't sing the chorus at the end any more like he did in the video?
