The quality of those YouTube videos by ConnieNick is quite poor. If anyone else has these episodes of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman posted, I'd like to know about them.

I love that Sully and Dr. Mike look for Matthew's approval on the adoption too even though he is old enough to not legally be adopted by them. It shows they love him too as a son. Too sweet!
It is so sad that someone as nice as Charlotte Cooper would be married to that jerk of a husband. She was one of the nicest people in town and she was married to such a mean man!! Good thing her children turned out like her!!
I think Jessica is absolutely brilliant in dr Quinn! I always thought Erika was selfish and always daydreaming and being snotty! Erika yes could pull off a country girl, Jessica looks like a girl from med school, but still Jessica I think is better. Thts in my opinion.

Man, people are so harsh on Jessica. Erika is the one that left, no her so give her a chance. It must have been hard to come to a show after all the other characters were well established. I think she pulled it off quite well plus Erika could have never pulled off the Andrew and Colleen storyline.
@84mitchell I totally agree. Erika left the show's producers in a bad situation. They had all these episodes written and couldn't stop production to cast a whole new colleen so they used the producers daughter who already had some acting experience. It made sense financially. Erika could have stayed , but she chose to leave when she did. So, those of you who say that she could have finished out the season...she chose not to.
I think Sully is absolutely sexy and the beard doesnt change that for me.. I kinda like it. To me it means he's virile and manly... just the whole package.
also, remember when Coleen had a crush on Sully and now he wants to legally adopt her and her brothers after the wedding. just a bit awkward. but it is understandable since she was a young girl starting to have crushes and being around sully all the time..and he's not her real pa so not that unnormal. we all do weird things during puberty

I feel the same way - it is Jessica's lack of any real ability to act that drives me crazy. I still can't understand why on earth she was cast. It takes a talented actor to step into a role that has already been played by someone else and not drastically change the character. What on earth were the producers thinking?

Oh I so agree. Erika Flores was Colleen, and it's weird that it's just suddenly --- someone totally different. I liked Erika's physicality, her insecurities and also, yes, she was blond like the brothers and it made sense that way. At the very least, someone who looked right should have been cast! I really believed the first Colleen's talent with medicine; more than when I watched Jessica Bowman anyway.

I think Jessica portrayed Colleen as a more emotional feeling girl. She calls Dr. Mike , "Ma" more then the previous actress did.
