<----- Professional jazz musician here. Nice stuff. It's like a watered down version of the Bobby Mcferrin/Chick Corea stuff (which is still a compliment) Great piano player you got there. Is he an undergrad? I've only known one undergrad who can solo and play bass lines at the same time and he's in one of the top US air force bands now. I'm also a bass player, your bass lines are genuinely good. Even a few iii iv ii V turnarounds.... nice.... for a vocalist.

Hey Matt. I haven't heard the album you mentioned, but McFerrin's "Spontaneous Inventions" was one of my favorite albums growing up, and I still love it. I can definitely see the influence here. You should check that one out too if you haven't.
