Am an Indian, and think that China's economic achievements (esp infrastructure) have been huge. Any other developing nation will really need to pull up its socks to match them. Once the yuan (RMB) becomes freely interconvertability, it will appreciate like HOG CRAZY.... China's cheap laborforce (aka Chinese factories are the sweatshops of the world) will become costly.... Vietnam, other ASEAN nations will gain a competitive edge and China will have to move to services in order to stay competitive...
