I can't remember being more moved in the theatre. In my opinion (for what it's worth) this show is great art. The equivalent of Beethoven or a Monet painting. Love and loss portrayed simply but made all the more powerful by the physical theatre form, so often the excuse for pretentiousness. All the elements: the performances, the design of the masks, the music, including the 'whooshes' of air produced by the accordian (a totally original idea), combined perfectly.
This show has inspired me to no end. I was ready to quit theatre as I was in a creative hole. I had forgotten beauty, spirit, and the simplicity of telling a great story. This show reminded me of the reasons why I started performing in the first place. I'm so glad I got a chance to see it at the Fringe. Thank you for reminding of the joy of being an artist but also of being human.
This beautiful piece has to be one of thee most simple and delicate performances I have ever witnessed. I was brought to tears and laughter throughout. Thank you for touching our hearts with your tale. xx
Just simply the most beautiful piece of theatre I have ever had the privilege of seeing. My highlight of this years festival once again. Thank you guys!
Looking forward to seeing this at the Richard Whiteley Theatre in Giggleswick on Saturday 4 February :0)
