The second issue is that you don't seem to know what you're doing, which usually isn't a problem, but with the complete disregard for safety this could be disastrous at some point later on. Most of the parts were from Denmark and then purchased by Century Arms. The Century recievers are pure junk. There are no rear sight windage markings and most are far out of spec.

How did you chamber a round at 1:13 without ejecting one in the first place? I thought that when you load this rifle, the bolt will always chamber (it's top-loaded).
He loaded the rifle with less than eight rounds, and slid the bolt over the top of the top round in the clip, so nothing was chambered but ammo was still in the rifle. It's just as if you locked in a loaded magazine into a rifle but didn't charge it yet.

And what gives you any authority on what laws should be here? American culture today is dictated by our history. Historically, police forces are a new thing, it was up to individuals to defend themselves and their family. If someone were to break into my house today, it would take the police 6-7 minutes to arrive. That's why I own guns.

Just because average citizens will be banned from owning firearms, does not mean that criminals will also be banned. They will break the law, regardless. The FBI logs that between 800,000 and 1.2 million times a year, guns are used in self defense. Only 25% of violent crime in America occurs using firearms. Thus I suggest you ban baseball bats, tire irons, and crowbars as well in an effort to reduce crime.

Using the example you two have been using, if someone breaks into my house i dont know if theyre armed and im not taking the chances of them killing me because they happen to be armed. The mondragon rifle was actually the first issued semi automatic rifle :), preceding it by over 40 years, it was even used by germany in world war one in some numbers before the US ever got their semi auto in spot. I dont want to sound like a jerk, but soft point rounds are not good for the Garand. And 30-06 150 gr. ammo is the prefered ammo. Anything bigger might bend the op-rod. (That littlle faggot lever on the right side that slides the bolt back) Have fun!!!!
