  • YOU SICK (good) GUYS!! HAHAHAH LUVE IT!!!

  • Job well done!!!

  • Splendid video!!! 5*****

  • Great exchance of culture. African song in European church. Written by Paul Simon and LMB.

  • @victorisincamalot1 In fact... it's not a church... it's the Musikverein in Wien, a concert hall

  • great !

  • superb, superb, superb! magic magic magic, you guys should be so proud of yourseves, God Bless You and your super lovely voices!

  • holy rats ass i see a few hate comments on here...fuck people get a life...its just music not a "lets slander other ethnic groups band" music is what you make of it regardless of the color of the singer

  • Love it, it's a lot more clearer than the original so you can actually hear the words, a wonderful tribute boys! Mmm, boys that can sing....*drooling *

  • My maths teacher is one of them xDD

    no lie

  • I'm sorry but this song falls under the category "uncoverable".

  • They are trying pretting well!!!! They have a wonderfull harmony too. i must say i like it very well. It is clear that we should not compare with the original version from the group "Lady smith black mabazo" from south africa, for the simple reason that they have that cultural background wich cannot be imitated and the voices also are irreplaceble.

But this group is just great and doing a good JOB!!!! Stay blessed! You will do better and even greater. Let love lead!

  • well done to this group, this is what world unity and cultural exchange look like . I grew up listen to this song back at home in South Africa and I am proud of your tribute to the great LBM.

  • A bunch of white boys dont know what this song is all about.

  • Lovely acoustics for the song in that European church, also. Great sound quality in the recording.

  • muy bien...para ser blancos

  • I loved this .. maybe not as in your face as the original but the harmonies were outstanding and the whole permorfance left me with a huge grin on my face. Well done boys ! xxx

  • Austrians singing a modern African song in English....it's called 'Having An Open Mind and Heart', it's called 'Grace'. Unlike rent, that's free to ALL...ONE LOVE, Yeah!

  • Coming from someone that is a HUGE Ladysmith Black Mambazo Fan - Flippin AMAZING job! Music comes from the soul, and soul you have fellas. Great job!

  • Very touched by this performance! ONE LOVE!

  • I also thought that their cover/tribute was very good.

    Great job!

  • tulululu ...

  • Am touched by this performance. Ama Zim African 7 ese boyz r osome. Respect

  • Being the critical type that I am, and South African, I really have to say that I enjoyed this..... Absolutely brilliant !!! going to watch some more of these boys.....very impressive !!!

  • White boys singing like black boys!

  • i loved it. great job lads.

  • this is abolutely awsome.. what a culture clash!!! I love it

  • go ahead white boys!!! i'm impressed! i thought it was a hoax at first, but they r doin their thing!

  • You should have never touched, kiddnapped the Hidden Ones, the true Yahudim and brought them to the America's. You will have to answer for the sins of your fathers.

  • Being a member of a choir in Castricum, Holland, named Cascantar, we also sing similar songs which I love. Lady Blacksmith Mambazo I know from their cooperation with Paul Simon, and I think these Voices are very good too.

  • Impressed with the way they tried to imitate the original. Keep it up South Africa, this shows that we can be united through song.

  • Wonderfully sung! They are nearly indistinguishable from the original.

  • well done boys!

  • THIS WAS FANTASTIC ! IVE LISTENED TO LADYSMITH BLACK MAMBAZO FOR 10 YEARS, AND NEVER EVER HEARD OF THESE GUYS ! GREAT JOB BOYS !

  • Perfeito!!!!

  • beautiful. First time I've heard anyone sing this song other than Ladysmith Black Mambazo - I am impressed :). Brings back beautiful childhood memories of the Paul Simon Graceland concert.

  • Good but decaffeinated...

  • fantastic

  • africa has talent

  • awesome

  • Great Job!!! Awsome!

  • Its not a matter of skin color or even nationality. This is a matter of pure talent and soul. These guys have talent and soul and thats all that matters to me. Skin color is just a minor detail that has no bearing on thier talent.

  • So beautiful.

  • They did a spectacular job I must say. Wasn't expecting it to be this good.

  • As much as i enjoy the sound of this, I couldn't help but laugh, I know it is very shallow and yet stereotype of me to feel that way.But , I'm sorry this is pretty odd for me..Other than Paul Simon I couldn't picture a while man let alone a groupd of white man singing this. May be if i close eyes, it wud have seem genuine, other than that i don't think so..

  • 5 stars!!

  • This is so beautifully sung..definitely a favourite & five stars..simply amazing..Thank you ^_^

  • well done i thought it would be shit but you done a good job . i have all there albums and listen to them alot

  • músicas , sentimentos não têm limites, não têm fronteiras!!! lindíssimo!

  • I'm sure Ladysmith Black Mambazo would appreciate this rendition... very well done guys!

  • *****

  • very impressed

  • nice one guys..well done

  • Bonjour,

    Ciao.

  • great:)

  • Awesome :-)

  • Do not judge these guys by one song, listen to their other tracks to appreciate them..

  • I dont know for other tracks never heard them before but i know i like this one very much :)))) sure would like to listen them in live.....

  • Say what you want, but I've been singing in (great) choirs for 40 years now. If this was only audio and no video, you would never know these guys were white. The basses achieve a truly african resonance in their voice. The accent, pronounciation, and intonation are perfect. Of course I love the original, but this was a great performance.

  • Amazing music ,amazing voices ,it touches youre soul !!!

  • great voices, i'm impressed

  • not to shabby, nice cover.

  • Few minutes to b Blackmen !! Great experience that one shd have to try... along his way home !

  • amazing, but it will never have the same soul as BMB, Its good and came back here to listen to it again but I dont get this chill in my whole body when I hear BMB.

Nothing to take away from these guys, to have the same soul ud would have to be born into the same situation, + well concert for zimbo was a very special moment that is now totally lost.

  • First time I've heard any other version than the black mambazo version on my graceland album and Im seriosly impressed with this version.

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh cool

  • Supremely impressed. Just as good, maybe better than LBM. Nice job fellas.

  • never, where is the passion?

  • I am seriously impressed! What voices...they could give Ladysmith Black Mambazo a run for their money!

  • For all the "they suck" and the "they're not black" comments... it's called a cover. They did it as a tribute. They know full well what a great ensemble lbm is.

  • Really, what's there to understand about it being a tribute? No one in their right mind would even think that these white guys from Austria are attempting to be like black guys from S. Africa. Even if you look at it with a most cynical eye, imitation is still the most sincere form of flattery.

  • hm..

  • for a bunch of white guys they do sound like africans. Big thumbs up!

  • Super, euch hier zu sehen und zu hören.

Freue mich schon, euch wieder mal live

    zu erleben

  • Incredible.

  • Could listen to this all day long!!

  • the group Lady Smith would be proud

  • This is perfect.

  • Very beautiful video and music!!

  • Brilliant, those chaps!

I did miss some colour, however.

  • Can I expect to hear these guys make an album? I hope so because I think they could make a lot of money.

  • ok now i'm ready to see some brothas sing some beetles songs. hahaha! what next

  • heavenly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have to admit it is a good rendition

  • All I can say is "WOW".

  • My name is lulu lulu, its like my dedication

  • Nice one fellows, keep up the best job in the world

  • Bravo white Mambazo

  • They are just unbelievable, sound like 25 on stage not just 8 :)

A dream to "suffer" them live :)

    A.

  • They are amazing!

  • brilliant

  • This is so adorable.......cutie man

  • white boys that sing like black angels!

  • Thats the closest rendition i've heard yet. hats off to you guys!

  • that was good, veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy gd!!!

m zulu and these guyz made it good , no need for touch ups ,

    perfect!!!!!!!!!

  • Really beautiful!!!

  • These guys sing my favorite part of this song with such power and feeling that I can't help but really love them. Starting at 2:23 to the end. Seriously guys amazing job.

  • :::APPLAUSE:::

  • wow amazing....pure amazing :)

  • well done

  • fuck you haters. Am black, and these white boys r great. They can rock

  • I listen to thi sclip alot and I think you guys did a great job. Mabey you could more feeling into it but still you did a good job. LAdysmith would still be proud.

  • Guys Job well done, you guys you are amazing,

wow, you guys nailed it unbelievable, GOD bless you keep up the good work.

  • damn. I listened with the window minimized and couldn't tell it was a bunch of skinny white boys. Amazing job!

  • Grreat Job, very and really impressed! wow

  • I'm African and a big fun of Mambazo and these guyz did a great job. Bravo!!!!

  • you know now that I'm at the end I'm a bit offended that the audience just sat there. just because it is a church nobody can show some emotion and stand up and cheer? holler a bit back to show them how well they did, that is a fucking tough song to pull off like they did.

  • *g* It isn't a church. It's the Musikverein in Vienna where the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is performing their New Year's Concert every year. Maybe the grandeur of the hall prevented the audience from getting to their feet. :)

  • Blown away by these guys!!! where was this and where are they from?? Beautifully sung! Reminds me of my Dad, he's a fan of Black Mambazo!!

  • When I saw them lined up on stage(a bunch of middle class white boys) I thought

they are never going to pull this off.But they just nailed it. Well done guys.10/10

  • my thoughts exactly rofl

  • Congratulations ... It's really hypnotic.

  • I have to say that these young men have done a wonderful job with the vocals. Their sound and diction are very good from what I can tell.

It may justify Ladysmith Black Mambazao's performance, but I have to give these young men credit for exposing the audience to a different genre of music. As a music educator we are always looking for ways to diversify our audiences. Props to them.

  • hey guys! done beautifull. grtz from holland

  • pretty good

  • ya...i kinda agree i mean they did great but after hearing LSBM...no comparison the feeling isnt the same

  • you sound like you have no fellings about music.

anybody can do any music he want to. as long they put thier heart in to it.this guys did it. you feel that they are sing from thier soul.

  • Pretty incredible !!!

  • to be fair they have done well!!!

  • what would one expect...do better

  • Let us try not to be negative all the time. These guys did well. Their only shortfall is on the stagework that Black Mambazo has. Other than that, the song is coming out well in terms of vocals.

Some things have to be appreciated. How many times do u have white pple managing to sing african songs like this without ruining them.

Good job guys. I'm black african, but impressed with what u did. Keep it up

  • that was a brilliant outstanding and uplifting performance, thank you.

  • This is amazing love it white people got soul too....Keep it up boyz

  • That was so beautiful. I'll bet it was fun practicing that too.

  • Great job singing, be more demonstrative.

  • great singing guys. keep the catholic voice high

  • Musically-this is great. I like it, but this group is a bit too stiff/soulless to do the job that LBM does it

  • your right. they have good voices but are lacking as you say.

  • 100% true

  • why r they tapping their chests?

  • because that is what ladysmith does

  • Just beautiful. What a great tribute to Africa. Makes me so proud ot b me

  • Great stuff! This is good.

  • what a tribute! great job guys. very hard work.!

  • Wow... So impressed... Excellent job guys... Keep it up .. Wow!!! U blew me... thats tight!!!

  • excellent job guys!!!

  • Excellent rendition!!! Ladysmith Black Mambazao would be pleased. Keep up the great work guys.

  • love it love it love it!! u guys do mambazo justice and need to tour manchester asap! well done boys

  • Fokken lekker!

GREAT job, and the accents were blerry good. HAU!

  • Well done boys,You sung very well, actually you know it yourselves that you did briliantly. You can give Amambazo amnyama a good run for their money.

Most people who are learn isiZulu language when a bit old find it hard to pronounce Nqo, but you guys just pronounced it like my mother, thus good.

  • i can't believe the stupid comments i'm reading! These guys aren't trying to be "better" than LBM, but what they have done is go to a lot of trouble to do a sincere and loving tribute. It's a beautiful song. Anyone should be be free to interpret it.

  • well tried guys

  • they tried but can never quite be like lbm ..sorry

  • ....dnt think they wer tryna b lyk em dude.....bt dats juss me...

  • mu popinion dude relax ....

  • They are really good. considering they can pronounce some of they words quite well

  • This is great guys. I think it only adds to the greatness of Lady Smith Black Mambazo, that such a young group is emulating their great performances.

  • they're good, but people comparing them to LBM are mad. they're NOT better than LBM because they don't sing in the same style. these guys westernised the song alot. LBM sings raw South African style. If these guys were to try singing it in the original style, they wouldn't stand a chance!

  • dude u got issues, learn to appreciate n not hate, i think its more of a tribute to lbm n not a challenge

  • sorry meant to say just my opinion dude .. I am entitled to one .. thanks

  • ayt

  • uh, u're the one with issues. If u read my comment, U shud know that I do think they're good. Infact, I think they're amazing, BUT I was just telling the people who were trying to compare them to LBM, saying they were better than them were wrong. The two groups sing in different styles, so u can't really compare them, can you? It's like comparing an opera singer and a reggae singer...they're 2 completely different genres, thus u can't say one is better than the other one coz they're not the same.

  • oki ...i got issues....ma bad.

  • Is there anything more beautiful in this world than men singing acapella?? (Fans self.) Whew.

  • boring white crowd...at least they could have stood up and clapped at the end.

  • very good job...strange though!

  • yeah, not bad for a white group, don't think their bhulu though, their austrian. in one of the verses sounds like they're saying "eat your mango".

  • not bad for a group of white guys! are they bulu(Boers)?

  • You fags have no idea what its like to be homeless. what a disgrace. go back home to yr rich white famailes.

  • relax dude its just a song dont take life too seriously you wont make it alive chill

  • i think they are great! its not weither they are better than LBM or not they are good and just enjoy what they are doing. music is universal.

  • these white South-Africans are very good! melody is beautiful! they should come to Fiji!

  • very nice voice they've got...

  • very very nice

  • Nicht schlecht jungs!!!

lg aus dem schönen lungau :-)

  • Perhaps their Zulu is not accurate however this type of music is not exclusively the preserve of native Zulus. The singing quality of Voices Unlimited is I believe, superior to Black Mambazao

  • Superior in which way????Lets not be over excited here my friend.. These guys did a good job but I still would like to differ with you on saying that they sound better than LBM. I know what I am talking about and I respect what they did.

  • LBM is unfettered and raw, that's why they're beautiful! Voices Unlimited are an awesome group but they do not steal what LBM initially had!

  • these guys are good

  • They are good but to say they sound better than Ladysmith Black Mambazo is nonsense. They must work more on their text..the melody is good but they need some zulu language classes, then we can start comparing them to LBM.

They did a good job for their standard

  • You are talkink Bull S**t. They are good but not better thean Mabazo

  • THe pitch and tone of Voices Unlimited is better than LBM. They are better trained and have not cashed in their fame for televison and advertising revenue
