Yes it certainly was exciting, I was 17, I didn't have tickets but you could get up back of the Bowl into a field directly across from the stage we saw Michael Jackson Madonna Bon Jovi U2 to name a few but this was the greatest... Joey Ramone and Rat Scabies who could ask for more

I was at this,we travelled down from Scotland..captain played the year before at finsbury park 10th birthday party..The Stranglers..Joe strummer..aztec camera..run rig..all the big chart bands snubed the gig...but played for Amnesty at wembley...when it was on telly says it all

Saw The Damned support The Ramones at Brixton Academy in 1991. One of the best gigs ever - two of the best live bands the world has ever seen on the same billing :-) Captain Sensible of course guested on Joeys' solo CD.

I remember the campsite was away from the venue and you had to get on an access bus. Did the Mutoid waste company set up a stage at the campsite? I took my first acid tab there that night.
