He just finds himself in a mysterious prehistoric land, stumbles into a cave and finds a crystal that gives him special powers to fight dinosaurs and lizard men. Cool.
Excellent cartoon. It has a pretty sharp feeling of nostalgia to it in terms of design, without being a specific rip-off of any one show from the past.

BTW, what species of sauropod was the Tyrannosaurus fighting? Was it a species of Titanosaur, or one of the Jurassic sauropods?
