This is great! People like you are really helping to get the word out and its so very important to educate as many people as possible. Everybody up this, people need to see it!
Loved this, DadLabs! Excellent information with clear and entertaining delivery. Keep up the great work! Insiders Health website has two related articles on lead contamination found by the EPA in food, including baby food ("What Dangers Are Hiding in Your Child's Juicebox?"), and another on CDC findings of scary contaminants in baby formula ("Dangerous Hidden Toxins Found in Baby Formula"). Cheers guys, we'll keep watching.
Keep it up DADLABS, excellent info and fun delivery. FDA and lobbyists do not appreciate opposition like this, but if enough of us stand up like this operation this and other decades know corruption will screech to a halt. Plastic pans? Plastic oven bags!? I bet a pizza baked in a teflon coated brick oven would be REAL healthy. People, use common sense !

@tahotoy Thanks for watching and commenting. It's hard to stay on top of all that's out there, but parents have to try to keep their kids safe. Whole foods. Prepared at home. Using time-tested implements.

what is the proof that 95 per cent of americans have it in their bodies? well, in that case, then, after recycling, that is the water at the treatment plants, i mean, i heard that, well you know, the free drug thing, what do you, well you know what i am getting at, know, about, come on, yeah, you got it esp, telepathy- not spontaneity, but yes do or can we actually drink that bpa? Hopefully your answer will be in not the affirmative!
Good topic here, today's recycled plastics seem to be more harmful than yesturdays. My old Tupperware canisters give me no problems, yet the plastic storage drawers, plastic bags and plastic trashbins we buy nowadays seem to offgas quite a bit. You may not notice a smell, but esp. for white containers, a black coating appears, it looks like soot. I don't burn regular candles in my home, only beeswax ones. My point is, I'm working on replacing the recent plastics in my home, starting (2Bcon't)
I had been searching and studying about these bad plastics and went through my pots, pans, and bowls and took everything out that was plastic or had scratches in the pots and pans. I went to store this week and bought things that were ceramic, glass or stainless steel. Also bought some expensive pots and pans that last a lot longer than regular cheap pots and pans. My daughter had gotten hypertyrodism about 2 years ago and want to see if it gets better because of the changes I am making.
There is also two more numbers to watchout for #1 and #3 these also contain BPA but #7 leaks the most. There are also studies that sy that this will make children go into puberty sooner and make them more succeptible to haveing brest cancer or prostate cancer from the carcenigens in BPA.
Yeah, parents don't care what there kids eat when there small so thats what makes them obese in the future. Or sometimes you pass the obese gene to your kids.
maybe kids are fat today because they are coddled, sit on their butts, and only move their thumbs for exercise?
50 years ago, there were no diet soft drinks, they were full of sugar, and everyone cooked with butter, ate lots of salty, fatty food, lots of red meat & starches, etc. and there was no type II diabetes in people under 40 years old. remember mcdonalds' "over 2 billion served?" kids weren't fat then, and 2 billion cheeseburgers is a lot of calories.
What about the hard plastic that kids plates are made of??? I have toddlers so every plate we use is hard plastic (i can't handle that much broken glass!!)
I will def. be checking my containers.
One more reason to go a bit more natural and buy local as much as possible, that stuff usually isn't packaged.
This is great! People like you are really helping to get the word out and its so very important to educate as many people as possible. Everybody up this, people need to see it!

It's also in all canned goods (foods and drinks) Acidic foods such as tomatoes leach the most.

I think the high fructose corn syrup and the plastic is what really did them in.

We are the fat kids of america.
We are saggy.
We are sweaty.
We do not leave left overs.
We do not breath through our noses.
We will eat anything that stands in our way.

there are lots of decent priced bpa free plastic... educate yourself and find the options for your needs.
bottles - you can go glass, Mams, or certain Gerber bottles
Sippies - most are fine, but for first years, all but take n' toss have BPA, Evenflo only makes their Straw cup BPA free...
For with avent bottles, pick up the sippies! They are bpa free and the nipples fit the sippy rings!
check the bottom of the bottle/cup/bowl for the recycle number... you want #5
