Chandra Prakash Dwivedi's Chanakya is indeed a milestone in TV serial history. He was so sensitive about "being Indian" and this is shown through each and every dialogue and scene of this serial. Dwivedi should keep on making such serials. He is unparalleled.

The present Chandragupta Maurya tv serial is nothing when compared to the old Chanakya Tv show of 1989. The old Chanakya has excellent sanskrit based dialogues and the facts are accurate. But there is hardly any factual accuracy in Chandragupta Maurya and fighting scenes have been copied from Hollywood movies like Gladiator. The new Chanakya is very dramatized. You need to watch at least 2 to 3 times to enjoy the old Chanakya because it is complicated to understand during the first time.

We normal ppl r corrupt , ppl can threaten us , bribe us , buy us .Normal ppl cant rule coz they live for money not for the nation .

Whereas Knowledgeable sanyasis will perform their Rashtra Dhrma while ruling the country and wont get bribed by anyone.

but modern caste system is completely contradictory to the original hindu caste system.

It has degraded since 5000yrs ago when the two most important classes of people started degrading: brahmanas and women. BTW, in modern world, most people doing public/private sector jobs are Shudras (Sewak) by karma.
