When I watched this for the first time in 1980, I began at 4 am. When the movie was over, I rewound it and watched it again. Mirren is wonderful, as are Mac Dowell and all the rest

I remember seeing this on acid in 1974 in Boulder. Obviously I don't remember much except really liking it. Also check out the Magic Chrisian with Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr.

This is really one of the best films of the 70s. You need to watch it from beginning to end, it is truly epic and surreal. Most of the actors play multiple roles. Malcolm McDowell/Lindsey Anderson are pure cinema gold.
