I've been looking all over online and nobody seems to have talked about the subtext of Critters 2. Some would say there is no point to this movie. I'm just going to have to rewatch it and write up my own thing. Why? Because it's awesome and needs to be done.

The idea for Critters came out way before Gremlins was even thought of. Just because they're "Puppet-monsters" Doesn't mean they're rip-offs. Gremlins, was honestly, more kiddish. The movies that you consider "Rip-offs" like Critters and the other puppet-monster films, are a lot different then Gremlins. Other then the use of puppets, and little monsters.
