@huroncillalovefuyu No way. :) Feralas is calm and quiet zone, good for contemplation and meditation. Good thing, that WoW has such kind of zones, because they make this world deeper and more realistic - you have a choice, you can go into action in more "dynamic" zones, or you can just walk around and watch beutiful environment in zones such a Feralas. Feralas is beauty. =)

@TyranidsBJ but both factions control one town, it doesn't seem very alliance to me. Dire maul and the elves/ogre's control most of the zone from a glance.

@HazreihelUchiha Well, by that I ment that the Alliance has a rather large stronghold, plus three other camps, one of them next to some large ruins, plus that town on the new shore of the Thousand Needles The Horde has two little tauren villages that small ogre outpost. If you look at the way both sides bases are placed, the Alliance have theirs all around, while the Horde's are really pushed into the far edges of the zone. The allys surround the Horde, and the Horde isnt making any moves.

This music is very relaxing and i'm starting to miss the world of "Warcraft" when it comes to mmorpgs. I remember questing a lot in this zone, engaging in pvp combat and had my 80 return to farm in Dire Maul within my final weeks of playing back in early-Sept. I am very curious about cataclysm; which i plan on returning soon, but not to my classic account. I sorta feel a fresh change requires a new beginning, Thanks for posting! :]

I used to gladly skip over Feralas. It was a boring zone. Now almost every zone in the game has a new and compelling quest line, I feel like I have to go back just to play through them all.

My biggest regret about post-cataclysm WoW is that there are so many areas with compelling quest lines, that I feel I have to go back later to re-experience them all. Before I was all too happy to skip Feralas for more interesting areas. Now almost every zone in the game has something to offer.

I like this music, but I was flying around southern kalimdor and I heard a REALLY nice piece in which I could hear violins and people's voices in the music.. I've stood in all the zones like a retard trying to listen for it again but I just can't find it....

@Felidire Try Guardians of Hyjal, that piece has what you are talking about i think. You can hear that piece in Cenarion Wildlands in desolace. It may not be what your looking for because it also uses a cello. However, this might be it. Do not go to the town in the middle of the wildlands, or you will hear moonglade music instead.

I quested in feralas some days ago to get loremaster achievement and every time I heard the this nice piece of music at beginning it felt like " metroid " water world :P

This could also fit in scary games like Resident Evil / Silent Hill etc with a deep story :)

I dunno what you're talking about Feralas has always been one of my favorite zones.

I'm not exactly sure why this music is so incredibly sad, though. Nothing about Feralas seems to suggest some deep tragedy as this music suggest.

For that matter, a GREAT amount of the music I've heard from Cataclysm so far is deeply melancholy and I'm not sure why.

Azeroth's been shattered, the world's been scarred and forever decimated in ways unimaginable and with Deathwing growing ever stronger, time for life on the world is running very very thin.

If so, revisit Feralas as Alliance. The zone is actually interesting and kind of fun leading up to an event in Dire Maul where you halt the big cheese of the Twilight Cult from bolstering his ranks.
