I have seen video's where Jecht counters even more HP attacks xD best one was against Terra's meltdown, big meatball right back atcha

I understand your pain of playing online with Jecht. The lag makes it sometimes near impossible to get the timing for his combo's right! but that's some pretty impressive Jecht Blocking, I need to get better at those :O

Who the hell is Frioniel? The only thing I can think of is Firion from FFII, but this doesn't really look like him.

He did realize it, but he also knew that if he did that, he'd just eat up another one right in the face if he bothered with a counter attack. Essentially, he threw in the towel instead of prolonging what was to come.

He didn't HAVE to counter attack with a close-range attack if he used his EX. He could have used his light arrow hp attack which you couldn't counter back with your EX mode. He clearly wasn't thinking straight at that moment.

NEVER EVER use the arrow HP attack against Jecht unless you know for SURE it will hit. Jecht Block comes out so fast, even after being EX guarded and even then; we both knew the timing of the arrow to the point that it would get deflected away (or worse...back at him for a free EX burst from me with full brave.)

He simply chose what he chose due to the situation and yar. That's that~!
