sten is good if a little slow but deals massive damage with the right gear.also the kabari hound is a decent companion espicially completly leveled up.But if you want a good team mate Shale from th DLC is quite fast a very strong

i have the ps3 version and i have a war dog instead of a tower guard. also can you do that tactical stuff on ps3 because i couldnt figure out how to do that stuff. and it wsnt that hard as it looked when ur playing this part

the whole points of mages is ranged nukeing... if you see the mage can shoot through an obstacle(and i jsut saw him shoot at the beginning) you DON'T move them across it! and you actually got him into the darkspawn's melee range.(it was a guy with a bow but still) i guess this is an old vid and you already learned to use mages by now, but still this commant may be of use to someone alse.
Haha I always choose the rogue class, I have very low tolerance for slow battles, and I tend to just rush through and kill EVERYONE, well minus the fact that the war hound you get when playing as a noble human is a major kill steal I found this game rather easy, but I'm a boss at rpg's ^^

@Jasput360 Up your constitution, nothing is really more important as a dual wielder than having a high amount of health and a high dexterity. In the second game, constitution I found wasn't as needed seeing as you can avoid most of the attacks if you're playing it right. But just make sure you keep Wynne in your party when you get to her, spirit healing is a good asset. And attempt to get behind your enemies as much as possible, if you run head-first in, chances are you will die XD

@aeroaa It is really based on the lore of the game. Nevarran dragon hunters almost eradicated all of the dragons. Every 100 years a new age is named after an auspicious event at the beginning. In this case, dragons made a return, and the age was called the dragon age. Yes you get to fight dragons, but you can't control them outside of mods.
Well, you have a strategy pannel which can allow you to concentrate on your main character. Like, telling them to drink potions when their health goes under 25%, asking them to attack the mage-like and/or toughest opponent,... That's useful.
"YOU ARE WORTHLESS!" Love the way you say that, I feel the same way sometimes, especially when I'm playing Oblivion. It's easier for me if I just kill my allies lol.
it seems like allistar is always getting owned lol with me too! I am on my second playthrough, this time with a mage. I'm playing it on hard and my team consists of three mages, and allistar and they own. There is so much dps going on that i have had no trouble so far (level 13). buy potions from quarter master use the herbalism of the mage to make more use the tactics for auto potion pause and watch what enemies you are facing before you face them so many mistakes nice videos so far though :)

Because they do a High damage but are slower than Normal weapons, they're great for characters with High Constitution, but a not-so-High Strength Level.

he's playing on.. normal... difficulty... what an n00b... but I didn't stop nearly this much on xbox 360, no.. I almost never stopped. REAL TIME OWNS!
Forget the fireball chain lighting and blizzard are overpowered. in the first half of the game 1 of those spells and your entire teams dead. this is nightmare difficulty right? only thing that killed me in this tower was the ogre at the top.
Fireball is so, so overpowered in DA:O - the damage is ridiculous, the knockback is insane and the CD is way too short. Only spell worse I think is possibly Cone of Cold or Crushing Prison.

put it on the hardest stting thats what i did and it seems like the pc one to me and to get over the problem of no pausing use the LT which in a way pauses it then you can do whatever you want just like pc but with the wheen instead of the line at the bottom

For future "Let's play" series, perhaps you should, between recording these, actually play a bit with good time, spending time specifically to look CAREFULLY at the options and what different keys do. Like space bar for pause, and tab for highliting items. *sigh*

IMO this game is really fun, especially since you actually have to plan in this game, where in like oblivion you just use lightning to kick everyones ass.
You admitted early on that you aren't very good at these games, and I can see now that you spoke the truth :). You don't use potions nearly enough, and just let Alistair or Toegoff die.
Doing a good job with these vids. I'd love to get this game myself. By the way, if you ever do a fire attack thing with a mage, make sure you don't burn your own characters. There was one time when Alistair almost died, because of that... other than that great work. I really like watching these and hearing your comments.
@Arontala22 Well, full Friendly Fire is only active on Hard/Nightmare - there is partial Friendly Fire on Normal as well though (PC version only, on consoles the Normal/Easy have no FF and are slightly 'easier' than the PC version)

No do not get this. Demon's Souls is so much better than this average game. It's sad, i expected this game to be so much better. Trust me, Demon's Souls is the better buy, by far.

2 Handed weapons are good for Tanks.

put it on the hardest stting thats what i did and it seems like the pc one to me and to get over the problem of no pausing use the LT which in a way pauses it then you can do whatever you want just like pc but with the wheen instead of the line at the bottom

If your comp was made within the last 2 years even with an intel x4500M it runs well on medium so...
Still I made the same mistakes Toegoff made in the beginning.

@Toegoff - I'm greatly enjoying these videos, despite the really bad play level. Sorry. :)
But that sucking is mostly due to your rushed run through the game, with no time at all spent to acquaint yourself with the game mechanics.
For future "Let's play" series, perhaps you should, between recording these, actually play a bit with good time, spending time specifically to look CAREFULLY at the options and what different keys do. Like space bar for pause, and tab for highliting items. *sigh*

Haha the funny part is that alistar is a defence warrior and he got taken down really fast.
IMO this game is really fun, especially since you actually have to plan in this game, where in like oblivion you just use lightning to kick everyones ass.

You admitted early on that you aren't very good at these games, and I can see now that you spoke the truth :). You don't use potions nearly enough, and just let Alistair or Toegoff die.
Despite that, these are very entertaining sir.

Doing a good job with these vids. I'd love to get this game myself. By the way, if you ever do a fire attack thing with a mage, make sure you don't burn your own characters. There was one time when Alistair almost died, because of that... other than that great work. I really like watching these and hearing your comments.

@Arontala22 Well, full Friendly Fire is only active on Hard/Nightmare - there is partial Friendly Fire on Normal as well though (PC version only, on consoles the Normal/Easy have no FF and are slightly 'easier' than the PC version)

No do not get this. Demon's Souls is so much better than this average game. It's sad, i expected this game to be so much better. Trust me, Demon's Souls is the better buy, by far.
