Douthat State Park, VA Trailshow

Douthat is simply amazing. The Cove is quite nice, but not in Douthat's league, harder. More elevation gain, mostly steeper. Nothing like descending Brushy Hollow, and please take Middle Mountain all the way out to FS125. Takes me a 1/2 hour+ drive to Bennett Springs. I can be at Douthat in just 50 minutes. For 40 minutes extra drive time to and fro...I know where I'm headed time allowing. Great comment!

Thanks for the slide show, awesome pics! I have yet to Mtn Bike there yet, been fishing there many times. . .Some tell me the trails are easier (and better) than Carvin's Cove, IYHO, is that true???
