Definitely it was a hate crime. But if you analyze closely it's something occurring on both sides. There have also been murders motivated by hate from African Americans towards Browns, racially motivated. Latinos who were not gang related which shows was a racial issue. Blacks are not the only victims, there are also Latinos who feel targeted by African Americans. I feel we are fighting the wrong enemy. And I truly hope the black and brown violence would cease.
