  • what i like it!

  • I believe this march is called "Americans We" and not "Rolling Thunder."

  • It's.... weird. There's like... no passion. I'm used to people moving and feeeeeeeeling their music.

It's like, these kids are all stonefaced, well, they are. There's no expression, they're just playing the notes they see. (Quite well, though.) They're not playing music... just... the notes they see...

    Where's the feeling?

Please don't tell me that "real musicians don't move or tap their feet" or feel anything because that is a lie.

    Well... they're pretty good.

  • could use some more euph

  • i play this im in 7th grade and we played this for ISSMA im a 1st trumpet player nice and we got a gold too this is group 2 right

  • Nice....but more than one dynamic level would be nice too

  • i agree

  • the sixteenth notes could use a little bit of polish, and the superhero clarinet needs to tone it down a bit, but other than that and playing all of the dynamics on the page you did a good job, trumpets did a great job...i loved the dogfight section.

  • I played this piece for District Band. You did a great job.

  • I played this piece and we did that accelerondo. I loved it! :D

  • i love this song. we are playing it at my school. i play french horn!

  • i had a concert today and played this (:

    (but not nearly as well)

  • Nice Job! Pay a little more attention to dynamics. It seemed like you guys were playing the entire piece in one dynamic. Trombones needed to play louder, and were too staccato in the call and repsonse. But nice job overall :)!!! Is the accelerondo written in the music or was it something your director chose to do?? This is a difficult song to play but you guys did GREAT!!

  • we're playing this for our festival this year and i can do the cut time eighth notes better than most of the trumpets.(I play tuba :P)

  • sweet song! Were're playin that for festival this yr.

  • Our band is playing this for festival this year. =]

  • i don't like the sixteenth notes........but it's a fun song, you know?

The tonguing is hard for the brass though, at the call and response

  • I know what you mean...

  • Yah my band can do that... naht!

  • amazing song

  • its clarinets and flutes

  • i played this last year in county band and it was soooo much fun...the baritone/euphonium part is great...i love playing brass...its just awesome!!!

  • Woah those cnets got it going on!!!

  • wht school does your son or daugher go to and what insterment does her she play I am in 10th grade and at Guilford High School and I play the viola

  • i want to know how many clarinetists actually tounged those sixteens haha. I've played this too on first and its a fun one to say the least. that tempo just flys and flys at 2:38 wow haha. Hey just as long as all the notes are there..

  • Very nice.

  • Pretty good rendition of a great march, but where were the dynamics? The brass should have come down at least for the first trio do you could hear the woodwinds. And thanks for taking it at the right speed...to many conductors turn this into a dirge.
