@StayMetal67 Thanks for watching :) If you mean in the first major solo at 2:10 then that's just one tap, no slided tap. The rest of the solo is basically legato techniques.

@StayMetal67 Yes indeed. I think it took about 3 months of hardcore practice (and tabbing) to finally get everything right for this song. Its a monster alright :) Before the storm is easier but requires a lot of precision and various techniques to play it right. Good luck. And stay metal ;)

@demonbike666 Fire and the Fury is tuned in Standard Guitar tune down 1 step. (DGCFAD). This is exactly the same intervals as EADGBE, except all strings are tuned down 2 half steps.

2. Learn to play without anchoring, it's much better.

it looks like your adding to much work to your right hand that is needed. but i guess its cuz the way you and me pick is different. i pick with my index and thumb but i relax my whole entire hands and put more work on the index and thumb finger.

@MetalMidgard Well, at first I trained it very slow, so I got all the notes just right.. Then I gradually sped up the song over many months of training and then I could play it at the normal speed.

Although my average was 2 hours practise a day, like 4/5 days a week average, and mainly practised heavy rthym riffage. One day I'll take on this beast of a song though. At the time I recorded this video I had been playing for about 3 years.. The first year I practiced a lot of technique, maybe 5 hours a day. The past years I've been practicing technique, improvisation, composition and transcription about 1-3 hours a day.

Remember your only as good as your weakest link, so keep every aspect at the same level.

Guitar pro is an excellent software for tabbing for sure. Tabbing gets easier the more you tab, in the beginning it's quite hard actually, if you know little about it.

But try it, everyone has to start somewhere, and tabbing is a great way to improve your overall musical skills.

I didn't tab the song watching the video, I did it by ear. That's why some finger positions and such may differ. This is a rare case for a tab that I've studied alot and spent countless of hours on, so I'm fairly certain that everything is in order.

There are places in the tab where I had to make alterations (like in the insanely hard solo that only Gus G can play correctly) to make it playable for humans..
