  • If I use a small pipe (24cm), would this be enough? I see its not really enough to heat a big one but I only have to heat a smaller one, and if so, would I need a windcover?

  • @noandbody The pipe size has nothing to do with the amount of heat you need, its about the bowl size. I'll say that you'll really need 2 at the same time to get something that produces clouds of coals. but if you just want flavor, one will do. it takes time, but it works. That being said, I still prefer and use coals.

  • Badass shirt!

  • hahahah i love the shirt, arab limo

  • I just received one of these. I used it with my Mya Bambino with the stock, small bowl. It worked great! In fact, I had too much heat. I wound up unplugging it for a minute or two here and there for my typical 1/2 hour session with this small bowl because is was actually starting to burn the tobacco near the foil. I'll have to pack the bowl a little lower the next time. I got comparable smoke to the quick lights, but the flavor was awesome!

  • what was the website again? I couldn't tell from your say. Thanks

  • @wrauseo The website i got it from no longer sells it, sorry

  • @wrauseo gogopipes (dot) com

  • @hardwareexpert A while is like 2 months. They still work, I just don't use them. I also like to have at least 2 extra boxes of coals at all times. Right now I have 6 extra.

  • 2 months is long enough :P

Being in Romania, I experience frequent times when coals are no longer sold. It's very unreliable here.

  • @shishologist I would buy and large batches then. I have bought 10 boxes of coconaras before so I wouldn't have to worry about ordering for a while!

  • @hardwareexpert I only used them for a while, I do feel that in the end coals do provide a more enjoyable experience with less work.

  • @photolinger When you don't have coals left, I'm sure they come in pretty handy, though. What does "a while" mean in this context, by the way?

  • photolinger - Nice rewiev ;) where I can buy thats cool t-shirt "Arabic limo" ? and please give me link or name song in the video. thx man :)

  • where to buy?

  • why did i think that lamp was attached to the hookah

  • every time i prepare mine after a few minutes it's getting so strong, that I start to cough. What to do, so it won't be that strong :( :?

  • my dad mailed me an article that said hookah coals contain small amounts of led, which is worrisome since it's not only bad for you, but it can really mess up future unborn children (if you're a woman, idk about you guys). Anyway, before retiring my hookah, i decided to look for alternative coals. How long does this product work? I've also heard of people making their own coals out of dried fruit, and I was wondering if you've tried that or know if it works.

  • @amglover08 if you are unsure, why not use something like coconut charcoal which contains nothing but coconut shell. Or any other variety of natural coal. I cannot speak for quicklights, but naturals tend to be just that, natural wood or bark or shells.

  • you are using a wind cover without a coal....... just making sure you're aware

  • @brianwurzburg yes, i'm keeping the heat in. Its just like using a windcover indoors. You're not always doing it for the wind but to stop heat from dissipating.

  • everyone told me that this is a piece of shit :(

  • @cauli2 fair enough, i can see why, however it still works, light smoke, and takes a lot of work

  • Is this way more healthier than the normal coal?

  • is there a newer version of this out?

  • @dethklok1989 possibly, from other vendors, but the market for this erupted and quickly died. I personally find coals easier at this point and less of a hassle, but the ecoals still work.

  • @dethklok1989 no idea

  • I am selling hardwood coals for $7.00 a pound they provide no taste, clean burning, and no after taste. Pay will be done though pay pal.

  • are you muslim by any chance?

  • What brand and how tall in inch " is your hookah, please tell me :). Should I get a Karim Abdul 32" hookah? Is it the best kind of hookah in the market?

  • @jupstejuho That was a KM SSR aka Exotica. The Karim abdul you speak of looks like a standard Magdy Zidan hookah, which isnt bad, but isnt necesarrily the best. I prefer my syrian hookahs, but my Egpytian ones are good too.

  • where did you buy it online? thanks!

    greetz from belgium ;)

  • Wow this looks like total crap, honestly you've lost credibility with me by not just coming right out and saying so.

  • @CN073 It still works, you saw clouds did you not? Did i not explain how it requires a specialized setup? Did i not suggest 2 would be better? Did I not say the wire got in the way? Did I not say to use a windcover? The thing was selling for 20 bucks when it first came out. If you don't want to try it, you don't need to. I spent my own money and got this sent from china to review before they were first even acquired by any vendor. I still use coals, but it provides for something interesting.

  • @photolinger True and maybe I should of worded that better, you've lost some credibility to myself personally. I appreciate the time you've spent on your videos and find them mostly informative when they are about things that apply to me. However, and this might just be personal preference, you could of and should of been a little more direct about how it doesn't produce big clouds and one unit wouldn't be sufficient for most users. That device is a failure and I'm not alone in that opinion.

  • @CN073 I comment on the clouds and its a video so any viewer can see the amount. I'm not so sure how to be more direct. It appears that you possibly acquired one and are disappointed. It still worked for me and Mr. B who also ordered it from china. I never force my opinion on anyone. If you don't want to try it you don't have to but I show you how it works and what its like. I'm not sure what counts as credible to you. Should I cater specifically to your tastes more?

  • first off whats the point of the wind cover if theres no wind.. second even if there was wind it wont affect the coal since its electric so again whats the point.. lol besides looks..

  • @randumbguy8239 Used indoors, windovers insulate the air around the bowl. Essentially, it keeps the air around the bowl hotter. Test it out with a real, almost done coal, inside and you'll see. In this case, imagine that the coal is a toaster oven. It it hotter with the door open or with the door closed?

  • Why would they romanize the Arabic that just confuses me.

  • @LunasCraincloud Cultural misunderstanding? I dont know :P

  • @photolinger Meh they do the same thing in Anime with Japanese and it makes my life harder because I am trying to learn to read it.

  • I will bye one!its great!

Hey guys, can anyone tell me which is the best way to keep hookah tobacco preserved in good condition?

  • @KAMINADAS7 you may want to hold off, I still prefer coals more. As for the tobacco, place it in a tupperware container, at room temperature. (If you want, a ziplock bag inside of the tupperware is even better)

  • Nice review, man

  • Its a great concept for someone who is trying to save money on buying coals but it still needs a little work so it works exactly like coals do.

  • what web-site can I order one of these from?

    Thanks

  • what music is this - can you youtube? good review

  • i like ur review cause ur a little harsh and not too forgiving haha :)

  • Do a quick review of how they are when using two of them please??

    Pappy_H on Hookahdomain

  • This would be sweet if the coal was actually bigger. Great stuff though. Glad you got a review for this.

    -BTBAMordecai (HookahPro)

  • i also got the same. its thin smoke.

  • yes it is bro, stay the f away from it.

  • Did you try it with two yet?

  • yes, it does work, just on dryer tobaccos like nakhla and in an egpytian bowl, doesnt really do as well on a smaller funnel

  • Hey there, I couldnt see the video with audio so I dont know if you mentioned this but, does this work with natural coals aswell?

Or you were actually using a natural coal?

    Thanks in advance.

  • you need to try watching this with audio, this was an electronic coal review. as in, the little gold puck is actually an electronic heater, theres a wire that plugs it into a wall, it will work on all hookahs, although it takes a while to heat up and 1 coal does not produce a lot of heat.

  • lol i like the t shirt

  • Among the advantages for me are no more coal dust getting everywhere, and no more buying coals and lighters. The shipping on coals to Canada is brutal.

  • hey is there any way u can do another review with two coals?

  • ill tell you straight up, its just weird to me and its a constant heat...so i say natural coals are still better

  • is this really much better for your health because i am considering buying one.

  • the thing you are talking about is a coil that is used to boil water if I am correct. Yes it is uneven, and no, I'm not sure it would work, the coil is meant to boil water, not bake tobacco, so there is a chance it does not get hot enoough. I'd say try it out and let people know if it does work. I've tried an alternative and I can tell you an Iron will not do the job!

  • ahmm will this electric spoon thing not be the same? you know this thing you put in a glass of water to get it boiled? I don't know if they still make them but I do have a 12years old one in my home.. won't it be the same? or even hotter? the only problem is unevenness..

  • i rather use coals
