  • I grew up just south of San Francisco. I'd been so proud learning of Martin Luther King, Jr., then of Susan B. Anthony and Mahatma Ghandi .. and then Nelson Mandella. But in San Francisco, the angry, yelling, partially clad adult men in clown facepaint was scary. Enough to make an entire generation of children into homophobic adults.

Yelling doesn't win over the people on the fencepost. Angry yelling is scary. Scary people make scary parents.

  • grate job <3

  • i wanted so bad to go to a protest rally,

my friends that went said i shouldn't go

that i would be heart broken

but im glad they went to support

  • Woot woot!!!!! We need each other to survive such injustice. I felt so much better finding my friends along side me. It was so painful November 5th. My heart broke. Then I went to a rally and we cried and laughed and brought hope to each other again.

  • I was there and the crowd was massive. I am so proud of my community.
