Slumdog is a British film, but it's a testament to its goodness that many Indians feel its an Indian film.

I believe Resul Pookutty is a Malayali, not a Tamilian.

I am from Tamil Nadu, and it pains me to hear that some have such an impression about South Indian people. There are fanatics in every society... It would be wise to ignore them and live in harmony with rest. True geniuses like Rahman, Tendulkar, etc., bring Indians closer together and make them celebrate as a country when they achieve something at the world stage.

the problem with indians is that too much of emphasis is given to one's ethnic and culture. y can't we just accept everyone as indians instead of segregating each other as north or south indians...and the things with bollywood, kollwood, tollywood...what's the whole point of it? can't they just been known as indian films?
