Hey thanks, it works! BUT! I've done it on my 40GB hard drive, now I've bought a 640 GB hard drive. And the PlayStation says: "insert the disc with the firmware 3.55 and relaunch the system." I must now all do it again with the new hard drive?

I had to update to 3.56 because psn was not working for a while, but since I saw you can connect to psn again with the 3.55 I jumped on it.

The fact is that I dunno how to downgrade, following all steps the ps3 into recovery mode says that I need 3.56 or more. Any idea ?

dude i installed Waninkoko's CFW 3.55 with the rogero manager then i tryed backing up gta iv and rainbow 6 they backed up fine even loaded for a bit and then the ps3 froze on loading screen on both games like at the start and i was forced to turn the ps3 of any help on this matter i dont have geohots jailbreak installed not sure if that is the reason.
