good work. you obviously did something right getting results like that. and i dont see any abuse going on eiither. you are a good rider. and stallions have a way worse temper, and considering that horses size and age im guessing he was a handful!? lol good work. always have their respect and attention. which you did so well done.
put your knee in stirrup first and put weight into it first . it's an easy escape for the rider when you start training . if he starts to buck . then let him hurt the saddle and not you and keep lunging him or round penning til the horse stops . just my 2 cents worth
I've watched you for a year and am so impressed by your ability and by all means your LOOKS>>> I have a LARGE heart when it comes to American Natives!! Sure wish you'd come to Florida and teach my horses a few things... heck I just wanna watch! Can you PLEAAASEEEE Add more of your training vid's here and with a quickness??
I have this same problem with a big old grulla gelding, except he waits til your actually sitting and wont if you put your foot in the stirrup, he's realllllly smat and thats part of the problem. Why the f should I do? And when he bucks, its freaking rodeo show down, he twists, he rears he leaps he bucks. Its BAD.
First I want to say, I'm not a horse trainer in anyway, I'm a 15 year old girl from Alabama.
I had this problem with a horse of mine, what we did was get a bit with a really high port(it was about 1 1/2-2 inches high) and get that in him, we'd get on an he'd but, we'd pull on his mouth to get his attention, and if he bucked us off, we'd have to get back on or else he'll know he can get away with it and do it again.
@Kaitlinjayen a high port bit is also known as a gag bit, i had a few people telling me to use it on my standardbred with a head tossing problem, it done nothing but made him a lot worse, he nusted my nose for 3 days straight, so yea, im goin to have and try a hackmore on him, but ya dont see much standardbreds racing on a stright away with a hackamore. lol
@MajiksGurl224 No, a high port bit is not usually a gag bit. There are high port gag bits, you are right about that. The kind I'm talking about is just a fixed place correction bit, no gag affect to it.
@Kaitlinjayen i dont think you would respect anyone who put anything in your mouth and pulled it giving you pain,so why would your horse,,,,,yyou catch more bees if you use honey
Well I think anyone that took ONE look at you would say just how amazing you are! What a God given talent man! And the song ya picked for this video is one of my family's FAV'S!! Thanks a million for sharing your gift with others! Keep em coming and by the way.. WHERE are you located??? I would give most ANYTHING to be HALF as good as you! AWESOME JOB!!!
Zeldyzebra or w/e go back to breeding ur plastic horses, u can break ur plastic horses, and he can break the real horses, now i would adivce u not to hop on ur "horses" before u train them better! gosh! and u would deffinatly no since urs r plastic breyer horses
That was great, he went from wild, to totally respecting you, to get on him!!! Piece of advice, I ride too, and before you get on a horse like him, spend some time wiht him. Brush him. Feed him. Pet him for as long as you can, and be sudden with any movements, and rest your hand on the saddle, and push down hard, and see what the horse does, then keep on doing it, and if the Stallion is calm, then slowly get on his back. BUT AWESOME JOB!!!
ID NEED A LITTLE PADDING FOR THAT RIDE TOO!! WELL DONE!

He's a CROWHOPPING stallion. He really needs extensive ground work before you try to hop on him.
