Lately, E coli and salmonella are a bigger problem with vegetables. (I am also very careful about where my meat comes from if I intend to eat it raw.) Also, if you were to study feline biochemistry, you would find that they are such specialist carnivores that they can't even synthesize a couple of common amino acids. They have to obtain these amino acids by eating other animals.

Little Tyke the vegetarian lion died at a very young age because lions are 'obligate carnivores'-- they must have meat in their diet. She didn't and it hurt her badly. Their systems cannot even effectively digest the carbohydrates in the grains, etc. And yes, humans can eat raw meat. I do so on a regular basis, and am conditioned to doing it. Cooking came about as a way to temporarily preserve meat. I think we would all be more healthy if we ate our meat raw.

Doesn't it take just as much water ect to raise a milk cow as a meat cow and what about all the babies the milk cow has to have to be able to give milk. How would using milk instead of meat save the environment? If everyone went veg but switched to milk you'd have many time more milk cows and what about all the males cows(stears/bulls) born that now aren't slaughtered for meat. We'd have tons more cattle, not good for the environment if the number we have now is bad.

1)How do you know the meat is old? 2)Lions HUNT & KILL their prey & eat it RAW in the wild. They are being fed what nature intended: RAW MEAT. Milk and grains is NOT nutritionally equal to raw meat for a LION. Choosing to go vegetarian is a fine choice to make for yourSELF, but trying to make a carnivore do so constitutes animal cruelty and neglect. BamBam's caretakers are NOT cruel people and won't be doing that I ASSURE you. This cat is cared for correctly. Milk is fine for a cub, but they know he needs MEAT now. You can't force YOUR morals on ANIMALS.
