  • Yeah I was there in 08, browsed, chatted, ate and took in the sun as it was a hot day. Definitely a good time.

  • The 2011 is around the corner Easter Weekend Friday-Sunday Apr 22nd-24th. The Best day is Saturday all three things going on....racing, swap meet and the Bike Show.

  • @flojogrande Thanks for posting the dates on here. I'm planning to be there this year, probably shooting video. If you see a guy there who looks like me, come say hi. I was really sad I couldn't make it in 2010. It's a really fun weekend.

  • @hoohoohoblin - I'm going to try and be there as well but I feel like the guy in the video. My girlfriend doesn't care for the sun. My brother hasn't texted me or emailed me back either. Maybe I might have to show up there stag like this fella. It's a good time if your into vintage bikes! Swing by and say "hi" to Yoshi of Garage Company. I called him to give him condolence over the lost in Japan. Loved the Royal Enfield in your simulator vid...that's a Bullet correct? Been depedable?

  • @flojogrande It's a 2001 Bullet. Mine was thoroughly thrashed by the previous owner, and I've been going through it to make it work properly. I haven't gotten to the top end yet. I don't completely trust it yet. I hear that if a Bullet has been taken care of and ridden at moderate speeds, it will run forever, but if you abuse it, it blows up.

  • @flojogrande Go solo! There will be plenty of people to talk to. I went solo that year because no one else wanted to go. I made the video to show them what they missed. I had lunch with a guy there who was Elvis' motorcycle mechanic back in the 60's, and he told a lot of great stories. It's a great event whether you're alone or with a crowd.

  • dam bad ass bikes!!!

  • I have been to that event 4 times, I even raced my CBR600 there, yup, but now I live in Mexico so I look to youtube for stuff like this, Thanks for making the video!

  • Kinda cool overall, dude was a bit TOO silly, but the video rocked.

  • Yeah, I was way too silly. I was trying to make a point that I had to ride alone because none of my friends wanted to go. It's a great weekend of vintage racing, and it happens every year. The best part is talking to the old guys who have been motorcycle racing there since the fifties, but I couldn't get that on video. I think it cost 10 bucks to get in the gate, and I spent 8 bucks on a cheeseburger and fries. Cheap Date! Check the Garage Company website for the date of the next one.
