When my dad was an elder, I overheard a phone call with him and a sister who was confesing that her dad was ACTIVELY sexual abusing her.

Although the conversation I heard was one-sided(my dad speaking into the telephone) you knew exactly what was going on.

What happened to this "brother"? NOTHING!

he continued in the congregation and the sister continued calling my dad for help. She was still being sexually abused, for years.

My best friend who is out of the Watchtower for 40 years gleefully pointed fingers at the Catholic Church for clergy abuse but was very reluctant to believe thet God's Organization (JWs) could harbour perverts because of its lax procedures.
