@r3m1x24 Anthony de Mello died mysteriously and suddenly June 2, 1987. "After dinner Tony complained of “stomach unease” and went to bed. He was found dead the next morning, lying on the floor. The bio says nothing about cause of death, or the findings of an autopsy or any other examination." Coincidence?
"what a shit. he is telling the truth but remeber that he is teaching to become a antisocail personality"

You know how, in social events, everybody stays away from the "creep" or the "needy guy", and love the ones who are too unavailable or uninterested in how everybody see them, and instead are busy just being themselves and more interested in having a good time?
Bingo!
This is what he is talking about man, chill out, he's actually giving you a big social benefit...
@gorby9POD i agree.. but everything what he says is an opinion, he doesn't even try to prove any of his arguments. It's like the priest preach, he picks the examples which supports the best of his story and make it sound "cool". No matter if it's true or wrong, that has never been the point in religion.
What's interesting is that Yeshua Ben Yusef, better known to most as JESUS, said that the doctrine or Word of God is so simple that even a CHILD can understand the meaning of the holy gospel or GOOD NEWS. The GOOD NEWS is that we have a SAVIOR that REDEEMED us by His precious blood (One time sacrifice) So, we do not need CHURCHES or RITUALS to get to heaven, just ONE - on - ONE like ABRAHAM ... ENOCH...MOSES...IT'S THAT SIMPLE ...TRY READING THE HOLY SCRIPTURES AND FIND OUT...
Beautiful cryptic metaphor by a PRIEST intended to explain the jesus worshipping cult created by satanists disguised as priests... Anthony was truly an undercover advocate of the creative spirit working in the belly of the beast and exposing from within, with such eloquence that not even his adversaries could intervene.
I have read close to 500 books on spirituality in my life, most of which I then give to charity. However, the book 'Awareness' by this man is in my all time top 10 list and is definitely a keeper! A great man with a universal message for both the religious and non-religious alike.
J.Krishnamurti said the same but he was not a Christian. UG Krishnamurti also. As I see you do not have to 'contact with god(s)' to "SEE" or to be enlighten...
The Inquisition and Crusades came from safeguarding this "tradition". Most of man's inhumanity to man is about safeguarding someones religious tradition.

Remember, there are laws which work even if you don't know them. I believe Christians call the karma that secures one through our human ignorances Grace. I see that like scientific principals require the right factors and equations, for one to comprehend the highest degrees of spiritual clarity, one must possess the right formula - better said, foundational doctrine-the right doctrine, and if one believes in opposition in all things, then it is only logical that false doctrines will present-eh?
Examples: gravity, inertia, quantum physics, multi-variable string algorithms. . . .just because one does not know a 'universal law of science', does not mean said law does not exist; it simply means that you do not know! Said law still applies! Free will allows you your agency, free to choose. Brother to brother, I believe you are mistaken, for theology IS an exact science. The hard part is getting the equations right, and rite, and true! However, you are free to believe what you will. . .
heh, there is a slight difference between theology and physics :)
but yes you're right - there are laws which works if you know them and follow the rules. something like "do good things and good things happen to you" :)
Upon review, yes, yes, yes, NO, yes, NO, NO, yes. . .(but not necessariy in that sequence). . .w/ all due respect, this psychology is cleverly intermixed and entwined in right, wrong, rite, wrong, etc...,
His theology is not clearly foundational, not truly accurate!
Hey ya'll, I believe theology IS an exact science, the key is using the right equations, the proper variables (factors), then work it out for the answers! Realize, true science scares people-better studies.
Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice. If your dad told you he was proud of you, how would you respond? I ask because I agree with De Mello's view that "being proud" and "not being proud" (disapproval) are both the same, they are forms of control. Part of the hunger for acceptance which everyone is taught to have from an early age. Your thoughts?
I don't remember feeling so moved in years by a preacher/teacher.
I'm so 'proud' that he was part of the Church. Even if envious old pedantic grumpy minds want to discredit him and his true Wisdom. truly he understood and knew Christ!!!
This man is a gifted orator but more than that he says it like it is! There's not sugar coating in his message. Let's listen to him so that we can "wake up."
He was not excommunicated and he did not deny any dogma. He just included some viewpoints which were not in line with catholicism. He was just being warned...
Thought I read somewhere he had been excommunicated. Wikipedia supports what you say, that his writings were condemned by the church and the pope. Not surprising, since he shows each one of us, how to find our own liberation.
The copyright date at the end of the video reads 1987. I believe that was the year he died. All these clips show people who dress very much in a mid-80s fashion.
@Atrikhan2 YES!!! I'm reading it right now and it's doing the same for me. It is amazing and full of insights and positive and beneficial ways to look at life and handle people

What a load of bollocks. Religious people really need to develop a mind of their own instead of being brainwashed by people like this.

Part of the Vatican's "job" is to defend the faith. There are enough people pushing the limits. Someone has to safeguard the Tradition.
